I have a need for about a dozen volume and channel knobs for some old (very old ) Motorola handhelds. Let me know if they carry small knobs like that. If so, I'll take one of the radios with me and take a drive. See if what they have fit.

You should post some pics of the ones you're looking for. I have a small drawer of misc knobs and if any match your free to have them.

I haven't been there yet, but talked to 2 hams who have been going in there since they announced they were closing.
Everything is half off, and apparently the guy will even go lower. They way they were talking, Bernie just wants to get rid of everything. Make 'em an offer.

And if I heard right, the doors close September 15th. I've been dragging my feet heading that way thinking I had 'til the end of the month. Better get going.

I went today and bought some new test equipment, some components, antennas, and cables. Regular price would have been about $350 and I got it for $110. I’ll miss the place.

Went by today and the store is empty, they're closed for good. Didn't see a for lease/sale sign on Ford Road though.

I swung by last Thursday and was surprised how empty the store was already. I think they had some guys buy up some bulk stuff because when I was there a couple guys were dumping some of the few shelves that were left into boxes to load up into a truck. I was able to pick up a couple connecters that I needed, but most of what they had left were reels of misc wire and cable.

There is a sign facing Ford Road. I didn’t look close enough to see if it was for sale or lease. Considering how long it took for the RV dealership across the street to be redeveloped, it may be a while. Then again, it is close to the busy Canton Ford Road sector.

I wonder if they got rid of all the inventory, if not would they try eBay or something similar?
