Re: Detroit’s Broadcasting Hotties 2019

Deena centifanti, Robin Murdoch, the late Jessica Starr (RIP), Priya Mann (theeee hottest), karen drew, Kimberly gill.....all amazing to look at. I think Marielle Lue is attractive, and I LIKE the short dresses she wears...However, her "I'm a queen bee" horse shit and her snobby, "I'm better than y...

WWJ for weather, traffic, and sports.
WRCJ for the tranquility of the music and the friendliness of Dave Wagner.
Lately, 98.7 to continue the music that I enjoy hearing in one of the restaurants where I have breakfast.

I have to give some credit to Jamie Edmonds, who's used a nice hairstyle and a friendly smile to enhance average looks.

More like 75 songs. No joke
Apparently the only Anita Baker song they can play is "Same Old Love" which of course is starting to sound like "Same Old Song."

Re: Best Local TV News in Detroit

Probably WDIV because they seem to take a more serious approach, like actually dealing with real issues, and less fluff. BTW, did you notice they all seem to over empasize black viewpoints? Whenever they talk to the people on the street about gas prices, etc. they almost always only ask black peopl...

Rochester New York Weatherman

By now you've probably about the Rochester, New York weatherman who used the word "coon" in a reference to Martin Luther King Jr.: https://slate.com/news-and-politics/2019/01/rochester-weatherman-fired-mlk-slur.html It seems like he just had a slip of the tongue and accidentally combined King and Ju...

2 - Robin Murdoch
4 - Kim DeGiulio
7 - Ann Marie LaFlamme
Three women with a good mixture of looks, personality, and professionalism. Robin Murdoch is a particularly classy lady, who's equally at home doing street reporting and anchor work.

Re: Detroit’s Broadcasting Hotties 2019

I cherish those few weeks when Ameera David and Anu Prakash co-hosted the weekend morning news on Channel 7.

I might just be getting old, but today's news ladies don't seem as hot as they did back in the hey day of the Detroit News Babes website, with Lucy Noland and others.

This is your thread RadioKev. Lmao.
He's tried over and over to derail the 98.7 Song Requests thread that I started but it's still going strong. According to his profile, that's been his favorite thread.

Re: Best Christmas Songs...

I just enjoyed my annual listening of Bing Crosby's That Christmas Feeling album. It's a collection of radio broadcasts from the mid-40s to the early 1950s. The highlight is a seven-minute medley of songs by Bing and his four sons from his first family. The medley includes songs I've never heard els...

Re: Misheard Song Lyrics

Whenever I Call You Friend by Stevie Nicks. Actual lyrics: "Sweet love's showin' us a heavenly light". What I heard: "Sweet love's flowin' on assembly lines" Sounded strange to me, too. I envisioned that there must have been a rom-com movie about a couple who met an auto plant :-) My hears heard th...

When I was younger, I never could figure out why the Christmas Carol "Jingle Bells" sang about a "One Whore Soap and Sleigh"
I hate myself for saying this, but that's very clever.

Granted, he's a few posts away, but all indications (based on his attacks on innocent poster) are looking good.
His mentions of Led Zeppelin in 98.7 threads have gotten old.
