Re: What’s This?

Are they by chance playing Christmas music at the moment? I've been in the Muskegon area today and was wondering if WSRT was the station I heard playing "Jingle Bell Rock" on 106.7. You are correct. WSRT is playing Christmas music. Listening to it currently from northern mason county. Only identify...

Re: Green Bay OTA TV reception from manistee

Thanks for sharing what you can receive in the area. I’m over by the brewery and can get wbay, wpne, wcwf, and wgba 90% of the time from gbay. (WLUK will prob come in better one they move to uhf). And Milwaukee 50-70% of the time WITI(strongest of them), WISN, WDJT, WPXE, and Super 18 cw. WTMJ is a ...

Re: Green Bay OTA TV reception from manistee

It appears that Televes uses dBi gain figures, which are 2.15 dBi higher than dBd. So you might want to take their gain figures taking that into consideration. I'm not sure how they are getting VHF High gain, even 5 dBi. It is good that they have a resonant VHF Low Folded Dipole. One person's revie...

Re: Green Bay OTA TV reception from manistee

OK, here's a possible solution, with the right low loss combiners. A 16 Bay UHF Bowtie with reflecting screen. This is within the realm of possibility if you are somewhat good working with antennas. Theoretically, without the losses of combining the antennas, a 16 Bay antenna would have 9 dB more g...

96.1 in manistee area

I’ve been getting a silent carrier in manistee and mason county on 96.1. 35-45dbu signal. Wonder if a new station is being launched but it sure is close to 96.3 Wkla from Ludington. Signal is the 2nd strongest signal for manistee. Only 101.5 is has stronger signal. Has anyone else picked up this sta...

Re: 101.9 on today

When I was in Manistee this past weekend, 92.3, 99.3, and 100.1 were all in fairly decently with RDS (something the Synergy Media stations don't have). I think at least one of those three has been on consistently for a few months if not longer. Speaking of Synergy, which obviously don't have RDS li...

He also was the morning show host on WMOM (102.7) in the mid 2000’s when MOM FM was broadcasting a top/40 format.

Re: Reciva to stop streaming broadcast radio on 1/31/2021

This may seem like a dumb question, are there any internet radios that also have fm radio built into them that also have great reception? Up here in northern MI, some stations do not stream(most of the ludington station don’t stream) and would be nice to be able to listen to them on the same device.
