Re: Governor Snyder is such a clueless imbecile...

Matt - the MDEQ made the decision not to require anti-corrosives, misled the EPA about it, and lied to the public as to the safety of the water supply. The Flint City Council is not responsible for delivery/administration of government services. That is handled by the executive branch of government....

And all those hot water heaters prolly got the leaded h2o in them
Indeed.

Melissa Mays during her appearance on Fox 2 last week indicated that she is already on new hot water heater #3 since the changeover occurred.

Re: Governor Snyder is such a clueless imbecile...

The volunteer efforts are encouraging, and Kroger and its employees are to be commended for their donations. Since October, more than 12,000 filters (out of 41,000 households) have been distributed. Good statistic; thank you for sharing that info. The filters need to be changed monthly, do they not?...

Re: Snyder admin. willfully poisons Flint's water customers

I will say the State Department of Health & Human Services has largely gotten a free pass so far, and their actions need to be placed under the microscope.

Governor Snyder is such a clueless imbecile...

So, let's see.... 99,000 people have piss poor, undrinkable water. Many thousands have no source of transportation. Yet, Governor Snide expects these people to walk in the freezing cold & snow to the nearest fire station to pick up water?!!! You've got to be fucking kidding me. Free water should be ...

Re: WOMC Plays too much classic rock.

When I first read that, I thought maybe 48125 was confusing someone at WOMC with WYCD's Linda Lee.

Lisa Lisa also comes to mind. Didn't see do a shift at WOMC on a part-time basis between her stints at WDRQ and 106-7 The Beat?

Susan Hedman of the EPA needs to be indicted

This vile, demonic BITCH needs to be charged with fraud and corruption: http://www.epa.gov/aboutepa/susan-hedman-administrator-epas-region-5-office-chicago She orchestrated the cover-up of Flint's toxic water at the federal level: http://flintwaterstudy.org/2016/01/del-torals-heroic-effort-was-ultim...

Re: A New York State Of Mind

If it was a margin loan, then I agree with you 100% on that particular point.

However, the fact remains he's not quite the outsider he claims to be, and he's not quite as principled as he claims to be. True, he's more truthful & more consistent on policy than some other folks on that stage!

Re: A New York State Of Mind

While I do not view Cruz as a slimeball, you are correct that he postures just like any other politician. Mr. I'm-a-small-federal-government-constitutionalist because he's in a heated race in Iowa now suddenly supports ethanol subsidies and making it easier to blend ethanol with fossil fuel-based ga...

Re: Snyder admin. willfully poisons Flint's water customers

Nolan Finley finally speaks on this matter: http://www.detroitnews.com/story/opinion/2016/01/16/flint-water-crisis-snyder-government-response/78908000/ I agree 100% with what Nolan wrote, with the exception of his final paragraph (this crisis will help define Snyder's legacy and is emblematic of his...

Re: 2016 Presidential Polls

I would love to see a demographic breakout of Clinton supporters vs. Sanders supporters. I never did understand the DNC's coronation of Hillary as their candidate for the very reasons Bryce mentioned earlier. Barack Obama kicked her butt back in 2008. That in & of itself should've prompted Democrati...

Re: Nash fm 93-1 WDRQ

I've seen the badmouthing of Nash from Day 1, with the main argument that I can see being "It's not 99.5". Very true, but here I always thought we wanted more stations that didn't sound exactly alike. No - I've badmouthed them because the station's syndicated morning & evening shows are garbage, th...

Re: Snyder admin. willfully poisons Flint's water customers

What's interesting is yesterday - finally - Schuette's office woke up and announced it would a conduct an investigation of its own. That decision should've happened in early October. The fact he made such an announcement only after this story has received significant national attention is extremely ...
