Re: Detroit Tigers 2023

I’m a diehard Tigers fan but if the last 10 days are any indication of what this season is going to be, it’s going to be a long season….

Bondy didn’t say where he is going. I guess we’ll need to wait until tomorrow when he’ll announce that he’ll join a conservative think tank doing social media and PR here in mid-Michigan. (Don’t tell anybody…)
Going to the Mackinac Center? 🙄🙄🙄🙄

Re: All bets are off

Wow - last night is tonight. Getting completely out of TV news. Can’t say I blame him with small kids. I’m sure his schedule is opposite of his kids if they’re in school.

Guessing Mike Woolfolk will be switched to evenings to replace him.

Re: Detroit Tigers 2023

OK people. They are playing a team currently that was in the playoffs last year. Next series is against the World Series champion Houston Astros. We open up at home versus the Boston Red Sox who thankfully suck. Our next two series after that are against San Francisco and Toronto. We’ve got a rough ...

Re: February Ratings for G.R.

Any PD worth their salt will tell you the overall ratings on who’s Number 1 don’t mean Jack squat. They want to be in the Top 3 of the demographic that they’re aiming for.

Re: Detroit Tigers 2023

Just a reminder: The World Series Champion '68 Detroit Tigers lost the first game of the season. :razz FWIW, Gregory Soto got lit up in his Phillies debut, walking two of the four batters he faced, getting none out. You have no idea how happy I was when they announced they traded Soto. That Phillie...

And it’s started as Mike Woolfolk announced at the end of the 5-7am newscast that this was the last one. Early Today running from 5-6 and the National Desk from 6-7. He said that he’ll still be there in the mornings, presumably to do the :25 and :55 News breaks,

Re: Whitmer repeals right-to-work, reinstates prevailing wage in Michigan

Hmmm. I’m in a Union represented office. Why do we have people come and apply for our job openings? Because we are one of the highest paid jobs, along with the schools and hospital, in our county, Yet because of RTW, we’ve had some people (who are despised by co-workers) get the high paying job who...
