I believe everybody is missing the point. Midwestern is getting rid of all contracts that carry a time commitment because they are for sale. That is probably why they got rid of ESPN and stopped covering high school sports.
This reportedly has been confirmed.

Hello all, we are actively searching for a spokesperson in the mid Michigan area. Someone that is not overused. Most work will be VO with a few on-camera throughout the year.

If anyone has ideas or wants to send samples: needaspoksperson@gmail.com
I will PM.

So sad that the chill music is gone...
So when do you take time to “chill”, Talks?
Why would I do that?

Right, I see.

Re: I'm Worried About TC Talks

His complete personality transformation over the last several years might suggest an organic cause. The rest of us here have pretty much stayed the same. He used to be just arrogant. Now he's completely off the rails. I agree. He adds nothing of value to his posts or others. Look for yourself. An u...

WLDR-FM

I must say I am presently enjoying the good music selection of WLDR. Everything else aside.

Re: Blarney Stone Petitions FCC to cancel WLDR license

WPBN-TV 7 used to be a wall to wall signal in Mecosta County. WWTV 9 was somewhat stronger, and WZZM 13 a close third. WKZO/WWMT 3, WNEM 5, WJIM/WLNS 6 WOOD 8, and WJRT 12 were all receivable at higher elevations, and later WGTU 29 and WGVC/WGVU 35 were receivable. Even WJBK 2 and WWJ/WDIV 4 were r...

Re: Blarney Stone Petitions FCC to cancel WLDR license

Why is this owner trying to start LP-DTV operations in a region where few people are using antennas (because of complex terrain), when he can't seem to keep his potentially more lucrative high-power FM properties on the air. Maybe he should sell N479RH and go Greyhound? “...more lucrative...”??? Wh...

Re: Blarney Stone Petitions FCC to cancel WLDR license

From the legal doctrine of unclean hands this might backfire on the Coynes. The Coynes operated an illegal booster from the same tower. IIRC this whole LMA battle started because Coynes stopped paying Henderson. If that is the case the Coynes are in default and Henderson had every right to stop the...

TCTalks-
Your Midwestern “roots” are becoming visible again.
Your “sell by date” has come and gone.
Simply collect your Social Security and fade into the ol’ woodwork if you can’t say something fair, truthful, factual, and positive about anyone...but yourself, TCTalks.

Re: WLDR Renewal Applications

I had the chance to buy it, they weren't on the ball it was on the county's available properties for 6 months. I'm surprised a tower company didn't buy it. Does anyone remember when Henderson tried to go to court because consumers energy was ready to turn the power off? TCTalks- Do you get your roc...

Re: Black Diamond strikes again!

We'll have to agree to disagree. Everyone & their mother knew Northern Broadcasting was looking to exit the market. Merging KLT and the Bear into one brand would've produced a top 3 station for years to come. They could've had the entire rock landscape in Northern Michigan to themselves; they whiff...
