Re: Out of Towners Club
A Flint native wouldn't be an improvement. Why not? You would have stories lie these; "Billy-Bob's Flint built 1998 Lesabre has amassed over a million miles on it's 3800 engine since rolling off the Buick City assembly line. What's his secret? We'll tell you in our 6 o'clock hour" And "Who has the ...

She is a hard worker and good reporter. Her husband grew up in Novi and retired from the NHL in June. Welcome home to both of them.
BTW, her husband's first goal was a game winner vs the Wings.

Re: Storms 6/26
Maybe I was doing it wrong, but at 6:35 PM Saturday when I clicked on the ABC 12 Livestream link on their website I had to watch a commercial, then it played Kevin Goff's 6 PM weather report. I was getting no up to date info on the approaching storms. Do live steams only take place at newstime?

Re: WWJ-TV Meteorologist Alleges Discrimination On Air
"Laugh-In" used to have a recurring bit where someone would make several statements, then the phrases would be spun around to present a more objectionable context. It aired for a while on Decades TV in the last year, I believe, you can probably find it on Google or YouTube, for those who have never...

Re: Is Sarah Swistak Gone from WILX?
In January she posted she was suffering from vertigo. I am not sure if between that and having two babies to raise she stepped away? I really don't know. While looking at the WILX page it seemed weird to post photos of pretty much everyone who works there, including producers and sales people, on th...

Fred knows his sports. He worked in Lansing, then at 12 in Flint, then Detroit, and back to Lansing. He used to run the scoreboard at Tiger Stadium on his days off from TV.

Re: Charlie Tinker (ABC 12)
Is Charlie Tinker (anchor & reporter) the best announcer since you know who during the 70's & 80's?? Can't think of his name. https://www.abc12.com/authors/charlie.tinker/ I think you mean Bob Scott. He was an original member of the ABC 12 family. Robert Scoch, aka 'Bob Scott', was an announcer at ...

All the MLive print editions are going to Cleveland for printing. They will close the press in Grand Rapids in October. Depending on where you live, your paper will be five or six hours old by the time you receive it.
