Re: Buzzboard on Drew and Mike

Interesting. What did he say? It's nice he reads the site--evidently frequently! 25 minutes of discussion?!?! Jesus. Then again, he and Mike used to spend that much time (or more) playing audio from lame MTV reality shows while providing their own commentary. Long duration segments like that are on...

Drew read some posts on today's (Tuesday's) podcast. It was hilarious. Mocked Cowboy. It's funny to hear in what low regard most of your idiotic posts are held.
The discussion about the board starts at the 31 minute mark and goes on for over 25 minutes. MWmetalhead got a mention.

Re: 93.1 Gnash FM is now the lowest rated station in Detroit

Because its one of the few genres missing. Your idea would basically guarantee the same worn, tired, overplayed Journey, AC/DC, Guns N Roses and Bon Jovi crap that all the other stations have already ruined. Who else locally plays Pat Methany and Herbie Hancock? Exactly. 300 on SiriusXM plays, Rock...

Re: 93.1 Gnash FM is now the lowest rated station in Detroit

Seriously, peeps. What's with the smooth jazz? Everyone is acting like it is a very popular form of music. You can do an all upbeat music channel, like channel 300 on SiriusXM. Covers all genres. It is like DougFM, but all fast tempo tracks. 98.7 has the idea with all breezy tracks, this would just ...

Re: CHWI-DT-26 about to move

Is it legal to put your TV antenna on top of a cell tower, and run a long cable to your home? I would use top notch cable to keep the signal strong. The tower is about a quarter mile from my home. I'm guessing that I would get a good TV signal from that location. I would run the cable under the stre...

I was just speaking with my father about this a couple of weeks ago. Bernie has earned millions, let some younger guy get that cash.

Re: Why So Much 80’s?

We need a 90's channel now!!!!!! There's so much greatness from hair bands, to alternative, to pop, to rap, to country. That era was so diverse with all genres selling massive amounts of albums. Now, it's rap and pop on the charts.

Re: Is Bill McAllister voicetracking mornings at 106.7 Fake Wheels?

Bill McCallster? The same asshole that was on 97.1? 🤮 how’d he get another job in radio, let alone in this market??? Well, thanks for the heads up. I now know when to avoid that station. I believe that he was the programming director or something similar at 97.1 WKRK back before it went to talk. He...

Re: WDTR interfering with 88.7 northern suburbs.

Yeah. I knew there was nothing that could be done about it, but I guess it's nice to have a different type of music station in the area, that isn't only available on HD radio. It does seem that most days are better than others now that I've checked into it more. Not like I listen to it much anyway.

WDTR interfering with 88.7 northern suburbs.

Does anyone have an issue with 88.7 when north of M-59 (Golden Butthole corridor), due to WDTR on 88.9? The 88.7 signal was fine a few years ago, but it has been bad for a while, and gave up on it. Wondering if 88.9 blasting in crystal clear has anything to do with it, or if 88.7's signal strength o...

Re: 106.7 FAKE WHEELS is out of touch with its audience (shocking, I know)

Entertainers constantly bash the President nowadays on social media, TV, paper media, etc. and nothing happens to them. Dixie Chicks complain about the President sending US military to Iraq, and their career is over. Times have certainly changed.

Re: The NEW Detroit Wheels Team...NOW in Spring-Training!

Cool. McAllister is kind of a hipster doofus, but a likable guy overall. He likes those little unknown restaurants, homemade beer, and watching live unknown bands. Being a local guy, it's cool to see/hear him back on the radio.
