Re: Blarney Stone Broadcasting and Roy Henderson

Speaking of WLDR, what is the disposition of WARD AM 750? Was this included in the LMA with Blarney Stone? Last I head WARD was off the air.

Re: Blarney Stone Broadcasting and Roy Henderson

This might be an odd tangent but is Blarney Stone Broadcasting related to The Blarney Stone Group that owns several gas stations / convenience stores in The Northern Lower Peninsula and the U.P? You're thinking Blarney Castle. No relation between Blarney Stone and Blarney Castle (Blarney Castle has...

Rush leaves WJR (for WDFN/WDTW) and Cumulus goes local in the Noon to 3pm ...

Rimshots

The Saginaw-Bay City-Midland-Flint market seems to have a large amount of rimshot signals.

1) Why are there so many?

2) Who does the best job at attempting to cover the entire market?

In my opinion, the better ones are WCEN, WMJO, and WKQZ and the worst has to be WOWE.

Re: Grayling Rocker

The imaging is so piss-poor it's pathetic. If/when this KLT merger happens, I hope they will use KLT's voice guy. Also hope Blarney Stone doesn't gut KLT because I think it's on of the better sounding rock stations out there.

Re: Ajit Pai Will Be New FCC Chair

Good news for broadcasters. He looks to lift the market cap, get more FM translators for AMs, and possibly allow Class A stations to upgrade to a class C4.

Re: Grayling Rocker

I was listening around 8pm and all seemed fine. When did they go off?

Has anybody else noticed this station has a slight STL hiss?

Re: Grayling Rocker

I wish they had somebody who knew how to image a radio station! It sounds like nobody there knows how to record or edit audio! Impressive playlist though.
