Re: It's over already!
Looks like Trump gets at least 56 delegates in Pennsylvania, Cruz gets 2, and 13 are undecided/uncommitted. That brings Trump's number to 993. New Jersey is a given, so that puts him at 1044. West Virginia's rules are such that he should get at least 31 out of 34 delegates there given his 20 point l...

Re: Damn Global Warming...
I'm all for cleaner water and cleaner air, and I think most people would agree that cleaner air and cleaner water are a good thing and that reasonable government regulations should be in place to ensure cleaner air and cleaner water. So why don't those on the left argue their agenda on those merits ...

Re: Old cable lineups
Kinda scary that I remember these channel numbers, having not had cable in over 20 years, but growing up as a kid in the 1980s here is what I remember: Tawas/Oscoda 2 USA 3 QVC 4 TBS 5 HBO* 6 WGN 7 WNEM 5 8 PBS (WCMU) 9 Fox (I think 50) 10 WEYI 25 11 WBKB 11 12 WJRT 12 13 Advertising (with 104.7 WKJ...

Re: Damn Global Warming...
Oh no, not another global warming debate. These are almost as useless as gun control debates. I've pretty much settled on this stance: Is the earth getting warmer? Probably. Is man contributing to the earth getting warmer? Probably. Do we know how much man is contributing to the earth getting warmer...

Re: Cruz Campaign is Done
MW - that ship has long since sailed. The time to do that was when Trump could still be stopped. To do it now would just look like desperation, just like his pact with Kasich. And when you do things out of desperation at this point, all that will do is alienate Trump's voters. Trump at least has a c...

It's over already!
The republican race has been over for some time now, but tonight seals the deal. The media needs to stop pretending like Trump is going to go to the convention 100 or 150 delegates short of winning on the first ballot. At absolute worst, he'll be 20 or 30 short. But I think he gets to 1237 EASILY. C...

Cruz is getting absolutely DESTROYED tonight. He's in a distant 3rd place in 4 out of 5 races.
Trump, on the other hand:

Re: Cruz Campaign is Done
I was simply pointing out that those states are not true winner-take-all states (at least not all of them).
300 in those particular states is a bit on the high side, IMO. 250-275 might be attainable though.

Re: Bathroom of Choice?
Modesty and deviant issues in a bathroom aside, look at the bigger picture that defining legal rights based upon how one feels rather than verifiable fact. This is exactly what I was thinking. Like, if was really rich, but I felt poor, should I get food stamps? Or not have to pay my taxes? After al...

Re: 2016 Presidential Polls
Trump is opening up some very large leads.
+38 Rhode Island
+37 Delaware
+34 Connecticut
+26 Pennsylvania
+14 Maryland
That Pennsylvania number in particular is big because it will make it a lot easier for him to get most of the unbound delegates.
This is looking like a total route tomorrow.

Re: Cruz Campaign is Done
Trump needs less then 400 delegates. If he just takes the winner-take-all states he's leading in now, MD, CT, RI, DE, WV, NJ, IN and CA, that's 415. It is not quite that simple. Most of those states are winner-take-all per congressional district with some delegates going to the overall state winner...

Re: Cruz Campaign is Done
I remain confident in my now longtime prediction that Trump will reach 1237 and win on the first ballot. If recent polling in Indiana and California holds, he might not even need any unbound delegates to get there, except maybe some of Pennsylvania's, at least some of which will undoubtedly vote for...
