Re: Retro TV WHNE
Maybe something could happen with WWJ TV. CBS's ratings never recovered after the 94 realignment, and if WHNE let WWJ air a HD simulcast of 62.1 on one of 3's subchannels (transmitted from 62's transmitter, for coverage and bandwidth purposes, while still being licensed as a WHNE subchannel), WHNE c...

Re: Retro TV WHNE
My advice is, only worry about feeding your main TV. No splitters. The LEAST loss from a splitter is 3.5 dB. Many splitters are even worse. Put up a second antenna a few wavelengths away for another TV. I used the splitter to simulate the future power decrease, so I could see if I'd be able to rece...

Re: Retro TV WHNE
MW, 15 kW is too high for low VHF. At 6.5 kW 483 ft, WHNE is received in Capac, 37 miles away, near the very edge of the 35 dBu (the city grade strength level set by the FCC) contour. Indoor coverage here in Melvindale. This is what WHNE's pattern would be at 15 kW: https://www.rabbitears.info/patte...

Old Canadian shows hopefully means Red Green! Even though it already airs on Heartland.szmigiel wrote: ↑Sat Apr 04, 2020 8:05 amOf course last fall Retro TV announced "Big Things on the Horizon" on https://www.myretrotv.com/ and we are still waiting to find out what those changes are. Re: RePack Phase 8 started
It wouldn't surprise me if this e-skip everyone worries about isn't a problem either. We'll see in the summer. But I think it's a dramatization. We're not yet into sporadic-e and tropo season, which can run into early summer. Whether it's a problem will depend on how many other Channel 3 signals th...

Re: RePack Phase 8 started
There is no CBC station in Sault Ste. Marie, I was thinking of CICI CTV Sudbury. Also, the microwave totally knocked out channel 3 this morning, otherwise it's perfect. So happy I have it! I've been spending almost 2 years waiting to see if I'd receive it, worrying that I'd lose it, partly caused by...

Re: RePack Phase 8 started
It took me a while to get them, but I can verify, they aren't April fooling. Coming in in Melvindale indoors at 47/100 Digital low VHF isn't that bad so far. Honestly, the electrical interference everyone was worried about is near nonexistent. Turning on the microwave hardly affected it. It only wen...

Re: RePack Phase 8 started
Anyone have any updates on WHNE? Their facebook page still has their posting from the 12th, anticipating they'd be back 'in a week or two', and it's been about two weeks. Are they making progress or have they been stunted by the Covid shutdowns or some other issue? On March 21, they said they'd be ...

Either Piss Aaron (which Matt already mentioned) or You Left Me Sore (the latter is about V.D.) (both from Something, Anything?)
