Re: I need help ( but we knew that)

I know the Metroparks commercials were a discussion years ago on the old Keith Milford's Vintage Detroit TV and Movie Board. Don't think anyone ever found anything other than memories, but it might be a start.

Re: Programming announcements at 101 WRIF

Does anyone here have any recordings of the riff rock cafe from when the show first aired ? I trying to pin down what song was used for the intro into that show that featured a single synthesizer with an echo effect. Any help would be fantastic thanks Denis Denis and I have been trying to find this...

Just need to bring back Peter Werbe now.
I'm a fan of Peter, but the man is 80 years old. That's going to fly on a rock station anymore.

Re: Russell to WHMI

I was kind of surprised when I realized that Buzz Elliot was gone. I thought he had the best fit on that station even though the station is pretty safe and milquetoast.

Re: WRIF Dick The Bruiser (1979)

I think he mentioned in the WRIF podcast that he still has all that stuff. He's obviously had a low profile for a long time so it's probably difficult to get a hold of him. Might want to try JJ

I just started to binge through these. In the Peter Werbe episode, the woman's name he couldn't remember was Sheila Rushlow. He also mentioned Mike Watson, but I'm pretty sure he meant Michael Collins.
