Vanity and Grande Ballrooms are in almost the same shape. Grande is on Grand River where Vanity is still standing on Jefferson near the Grosse Pointe border with Detroit. I’m not much for his schtick, but he’s a Detroit mainstay like many others. It’s annoying but I now see it so rarely that it doesn’t matter to me. Mort, Carmen, Bill, Huel, Jac, J.P., Sonny..... just a few names (we know them by their first names too, I may add) that are legends in Detroit Media.......

I’m with the “it doesn’t matter” crowd.....
