Re: WNWO (NBC) Toledo granted FCC license for new 275 kW DTV transmitter.
Never understood why Toledo television stations broadcast with such low power? Is this an error by the FCC? Toledo vs. Dayton, mind you these are both midsize cities. Now Dayton area has much more terrain versus Toledo area which is mostly flat. However on the radio side it seems like Toledo station...

Re: Columbus' radio sucks as bad as Toledo's
For the love of God, Please kill off 107.7 The Wolf some the music is ok but some of there imaging on that station is just horrible and it just seems like they run that station so cheap, much rather listen to K100 or W4. Really would be nice to see a Jack FM/variety hits come to this market. All the...

Re: The WLLZ Fix List.
Help a friend set up his stereo after a recent power surge, he lost all his presents and helped to fix his antenna. We come across 106.7 Wheelz, have to say decent playlist and I’m not a fan of classic rock stations, my friend is he can remember the old Wheelz 98.7 and WRIF back in the 80’s. Even he...

Re: Local News Stations in Dayton To Cover Mass Shooting
God forbid if something bad happens in Detroit I guess Dayton television will cover the story here in Detroit, It’s called reporters reporting the news are you sleeping under a rock, it’s been going on for years or you just couldn’t find a better topic to post. I could see WHIO TV going up there, W...

107.1 in Ann Arbor it’s definitely one of best stations in the state of Michigan, it’s one of those stations you can turn on and leave it on all day long. 93.1 XRT is good also!

Re: Another horrendous book for Q105
Toledo could definitely use another AC station again, 101.5 has pretty much had this market all to itself for too long. Something like 70’s to Now Soft AC. Speaking of the ratings I can remember back in the early-mid 2000’s 105.5 was mostly in the 5 share when it came to the ratings. 106.7 WZRC exac...

Re: Another horrendous book for Q105
I’m still like in the idea of a Soft AC as Warm 105.5.
WRVF really needs a true competitor in the glass city.

104.9 Would make more sense because it directly service Lima. I still like the idea of 93.1 because you can name it 93 JAMZ Lima all weekend HOLLA!!! lol

Re: What’s happened to WJW-TV??
Had a chance to check WJMN out this morning, there using the same graphics package as WANE TV in Fort Wayne. Will say looks nice. Not sure why WPRI in Providence, RI (Nexstar owned CBS affiliate also) is not using these graphics yet?

Re: 103.7 WCKY
Awesome!! NW Ohio has enough Current based country music stations. WBZI/WEDI/WKFI is one of reasons why I like the Dayton market, just don’t have unique stations like these in Detroit, Toledo and Columbus.

Re: What’s happened to WJW-TV??
I haven’t really seen too many Nexstar owned FOX stations so I’m kind a curious to how that would turn out for WJW. Hopefully like those four stations I have listed above.

PS- their new cartoon news graphics are so 1990.
13abc can get rid of that cheesy music news opening also.

Re: Lima's 940 WCIT Drops Sports
Smart Move!! There is definitely a hole in the Lima market for a Classic Country. There’s all these stations playing Top 40 Country but no one to play classic country. However I do strongly agree with all of you Lima does need a Urban formatted station. How about flipping 93.1, 104.9 or 106.3 even t...

Yes they do, My favorite graphics package from Nexstar Media is WOOD, WIVB, WBRE and WISH. WJW and WDTN both definitely need a graphics update, sad to say WJW will get them first when they become owned by Nexstar.
