Re: 8 tower array in Hamilton On.
There are a few more big arrays I see when driving East into Niagara Falls, two are between Hamilton and St Catharins. I see a few big Toronto stations are transmitting from the South side of the lake ! CHML was also on the South Side of the "Horseshoe" when it was 5000 watts from two towers. WTOR ...

In The Vast Majority Of The World, Marijuana Is Illegal
Map of world shows that in the vast number of countries, Marijuana is illegal. In many countries, marijuana offenses carry the death penalty, including Communist China, where there are around 500 executions each year for marijuana offenses. https://worldpopulationreview.com/country-rankings/countrie...

Re: 8 tower array in Hamilton On.
CHML also has to protect the Mexican border for XEW 900, which is 250000 watts, Class A. According to the founder of worldradiohistory.com, most stations like this actually operate with a lot less power than under Region II listed facility records. But you would still have to protect it in Mexico. I...

Re: 8 tower array in Hamilton On.
That 900 in Sudbury moved to 550, then to FM. WFRO 900 is gone. WSNQ 900 is gone. 900 in Sudbury is still in the Region II Database. A Canadian station wouldn't have to protect the Sudbury allotment. WFDF 910 has a larger footprint with 50 kW, and any change in CHML 900 would require not overlapping...

Re: Sleuthing Digital TV Signal Problems
It used to be if you knew somebody at the stations, they would tell you if something like that was going on and why. Now they are likely forbidden to tell anything like that, for fear that advertisers would freak out and ask for discounts, etc. It's not like everyone is watching off air though. One ...

Sleuthing Digital TV Signal Problems
The other day, I was watching WDIV 4/Physical 32, and it was frequently breaking up off air. I checked with a small portable with just a bowtie, and it was solid. I looked up WDIV on rabbit ears with Longley Rice, and there is a slight terrain hole next to a creek/drain, not far away from where I wa...

What about your cell phone? What about Alexa? What about security cameras everywhere? It's not paranoia, it's reality. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7YvAYIJSSZY Then there's the worn out falsehood, "well, if you're not doing anything wrong, you don't have anything to worry about". And for you 1.66...

Re: Boeing Max jets are unsafe flying shit boxes...
No doubt negligence is a factor with Boeing and just about any other manufacturers of anything. But there just seem to be too many incidents in a short period of time to be statistically possible. Like a 100 year event, like a six sigma event almost every day. Sabotage and terrorism need to be inves...

Re: WDET celebrates 75 years of Public Radio
WXZY-AM (the current day WXYT-AM) was at the Maccabees Building prior to WDET. I believe WDET used the same facilities WXYZ-AM had. Later on WDTR-FM (now WRCJ-FM) used the Maccabees Building. I don't know if any radio broadcasters currently use the Maccabees location, as Wikipedia states WRCJ's fac...

Re: Trump can't make bond
I never heard that Zinc or Silver alone could prevent or treat COVID. I did hear that Zinc COMBINED with antivirals, that were banned, including the one they called horse paste, that had previously received a Nobel Prize for its antiviral properties, enhanced prevention and treatment. Certain supple...

Re: WDET celebrates 75 years of Public Radio
Looking at the History Card, it looks like WDET was at 12300 Radio Place until around 1960. Then they moved to the Maccabees Building. Then, WMUZ went on the same tower and studio site.

What about the stability of the signal and the digital signal cliff? Any improvement in coverage areas and signal holes?

Rickey Henderson , HOF 2009 Huh, unfortunate last name. See how you treat other broadcasters? I have more respect for Roy than I have for you! I'll make you a deal. Stop harassing me and I'll stop harassing you. Stay on your meds and it probably won't be a problem. Also, using multiple user account...
