It's tv. You work weird hours. You work holidays. It comes with the territory. Your boss owes you nothing. They give you a paycheck. If you don't like the amount, you move on. If you want to be promoted, you work towards that goal. I did not want my boss's job. Too political for me.

Notice the first thought was to blame the station and their ineptitude.
