Re: WKBD screwed up... BAAAAD
I don't know, I don't see heads rolling over this. I mean as afraid as they are over outrage from dateless wonders living in mother's basement over a sitcom that aired its final episode 15 years ago, most productive members of society wouldn't consider this a baaaad screw up.

Yes, because the 1135 slot needs another source of left wing crying.

I don't know, maybe to make sure it is there waiting for you when you get there, rather than drive 50 miles only to discover the last one just went out the door?

Re: The End of my Walmart Years
As long as there are messes to be cleaned up, Walmart will need employees to do the cleaning. They may be able to con their customers into doing the jobs of the cashiers. But the customers aren't going to take on the duties of the cleaning staff. What you did was destruction of property. I'm sure t...

Re: The End of my Walmart Years
Our local Walmart shut down all of their checkouts for one hour today, except for the self checkouts. Word is, they're going to phase out all of their human checkouts within the next few weeks They had staff on hand to indoctrinate shoppers on the use of self checkouts. I just left my shopping cart...

Re: The End of my Walmart Years
" I just left my shopping cart and walked out, but not before loading it up with ice cream." RIGHT ON!! I will not use the self-checkout. If you want me as a customer in your store, you'd better staff it, my money spends just as well somewhere else. And people with that mindset typically pinch thei...

Re: The End of my Walmart Years
Right on, because learning new things is hard and we'd rather just live life in 1982 perpetuity. I get it. Why pay employees when you can get the customers to do the job for free? Technology closes the doors to certain jobs and opens the doors to others. It's been that way since the beginning of ti...

Re: Separation of Church and State restored
A better question would be: when do they issue birth certificates? I notice they don't refer to them as "viable human life certificates." To certify death, this is a criteria: There will be no palpable central pulse and no audible heart sounds That would lead one to believe that if those are presen...

Re: WEXL FM 104.3
Does anyone remember when 104.3 changed the calls from WEXL to WOMC, any ideas on what year that took place ? I remember. It was a Wednesday. I was getting ready to tune in my favorite show "Happy the Clown and his cast of Gay Men". But just before the show, a special program of speeches and music ...

Re: SXM Holiday Traditions
I'm one who always objects to Christmas music starting weeks ahead of the holiday. But I enjoy it at Christmas time. And I always appreciated that the Holiday Traditions channel continued right up the New Years day. This morning I turned it on and it's gone already. It is still available on their s...
