Re: Superstore

I've watched a couple episodes but not a big fan. Usually on opposite Big Bang Theory which I definitely prefer.

Re: Leverage

I've recently rediscovered it on Ion Television. It's on that channel Monday through Thursday mornings starting at 7:00 until 11:00 AM. The show has become part of my morning routine. In the middle of the 5th season now. Good character development and interesting plot lines.

Re: Hugh Hewitt

He's probably the only left leaning host on Salem's network. Maybe he thinks he can talk sports, either because Rush Limbaugh has been known to talk about his beloved Steelers, and/or because politics and sports have intersected in recent years, particularly in the NFL and NBA.

Re: Air-1 must not be performing too well...

Wonder what that means for Yes FM in the Toledo/Lima areas. They were never an affiliate but have a similar playlist to what Air-1 had. Yes FM has been marketing themselves as "Positive Beats" for the last several months.

Re: Alternative Rock replaces Progressive Talk in Ashville NC

That's true. When prog. talk was on the fm translator in Ashville, most of their breaks were filled with psas from the network. Not many nationally syndicated hosts for this format anymore, either. Namely, Stephanie Miller, Thom Hartmann and Norman Goldman. I will give Fox News Radio some credit, as...

Alternative Rock replaces Progressive Talk in Ashville NC

I clicked on 1011 The Revolution's website which had progressive talk in Ashville North Carolina and was redirected to altavl.iheart.com, an alternative rock station, sounding just like Detroit's alt 106.7. You may remember progressive talk was moved to an fm translator station when ESPN Radio began...

Toledo's 101.5 The River is usually just a few days later than WNIC in switching.

Re: Furthest points Detroit stations were historically carried

Back in the early to mid 90s, WDIV and WKBD were available on a cable system known as Triax or Tryax, (not sure of the spelling) west of Toledo in cities such as Swanton, Delta, Wauseon, Napoleon, etc. I lived in Delta at the time and thought it was cool that they had those two Detroit stations with...

Re: live streaming NBC

Sometimes like to watch prime time shows, such as Will and Grace, or Chicago Med, PD and Fire on my laptop, while someone else in the family is watching different shows on the main TV in another room. Not a big deal, can always stream those shows the next day but just wondered if the live stream was...

live streaming NBC

Is it possible to stream Detroit's WDIV (Local 4) on the NBC app or nbc.com? I recently moved from Sylvania Ohio to Lambertville Michigan, both towns are just north/northwest of Toledo. Buckeye Broadband as my cable provider in both places. I could stream Toledo's WNWO (NBC 24) after logging in from...

Re: Old 62 / WGPR / 1975 Schedule

Interesting schedule back then. Does anyone know when they started airing network and syndicated programming that other Detroit area stations didn't want, such as the "CBS LateNight" shows which were dropped from WJBK's schedule in favor of shows like "Soap" and "Mary Hartman Mary Hartman." 62 also ...
