When Chris Christie is the most rational person in the debate, you know there is a problem.

Re: Ginger Zee's closet

I think you’re off base with this one. GZ is already an established broadcast meteorologist and show host. She uses her social media to highlight those items, as well as other interests she has. Many of these interests extend beyond her closet and she actually does a good job of connecting those int...

Re: Channel 4 wins yet again

I agree that Luterman's coverage on Fox 2 was underwhelming. Their radar graphics seem to lack the bells and whistles of the other stations, too. They look dated. Ahmed on 50 (who should've been broadcasting on 62 as well) did a great job alerting viewers of a likely tornado formation near Brownsto...

Re: 910 am super station breaking news

They switched to ESPN earlier this hour, then back to Fox Sports in the middle of a sentence! This is either a stunt or incompetence. I'm always puzzled by this sort of activity. There's so much formality in officially broadcasting on public airwaves, and in many ways so much antiquated pomp and ci...

Re: Clio NOT Cleo

Several years ago, Dave Leval was anchoring the morning news on 25. He was reading the intro to a story about Mackinac Island and he pronounced it Mack-in-ack. During the story, we get in his ear to remind him of the proper pronunciation. When we come out on cam for the tag, he sure as shit said Mac...

Re: Union Time

Be careful, Herm. You’re talking about an off-air employee! The fact that we had less than effective representation at one station doesn’t mean that there aren’t examples where unions worked effectively with employers to improve pay and work conditions. Unions aren’t perfect… but they have to be be...

Re: Union Time

In 2008 when there was a big round of lay-offs at WEYI the official statement from the union rep was, “I can’t tell the company how to run itself into the ground.”
There isn’t really much that a union can do to stop a company from eliminating positions.

Re: More layoffs going down at Sinclair Stations including Flint

That’s an interesting take Keto… it seems you’re more interested in protecting corporate NDAs than the free flow of info. You’d be great Sinclair management material. Name one thing I’ve said in the Buzzboard that was factually incorrect. Those who tend to criticize me usually end up looking like f...

There you go again, Herm. I expect you to be better than the same tactics used by Lovin Life.

Disagree with me on my perspective all you want. But I haven’t denigrated your experience. Please don’t dismiss my decades of experience.
What TF are you even talking about?

Re: Gone after 24 years

Herm: please enlighten me to where I posted any personal information about Mr. Beechler. Did I put out there his marital status? Did I list the names of his kids or pets? Did I show his social security number and computer log-in information? Nope. I simply commented on how great Craig has been to w...
