Re: NCAA tournament

Don't go driving the lane on Nathan Mensah of San Diego State. :smokin How do you say, "Get that weak shit outta here!" in Ghanaian? Top NBA draft prospect Brandon Miller of 'Bama is shooting just 3 of 16. I think another #1 seed is about to go down! (Edit) Oh man, can 'Bama pull this out? :sh...

Re: Detroit Lions 2023

"Big V" Vaitai (I can't pronounce, much less spell Halapoulivaati!) is another veteran coming off injury who has chosen to take a H*** pay cut in order to stay with the Lions, further strengthening the team's salary cap position. It's beginning to sound like a broken record, but Brad Holmes is maste...

Re: "You need to be nice to one another"

Was it a creative conflict or simply a personality clash? If the former, while not justifiable, an argument is understandable. A three-week suspension is quite severe.

What do they want to get for him? Not as much as they paid for him, probably.
Not as much as they're "paying" for him, present tense. :blink It would be a salary dump, plain and simple.

Anybody who signs for just one year is a rental. See what [he] does, and then offer him more in the next year.
It's why I don't think cornerback is off the board for the Lions in the first round, especially at #18.

Re: Willis Reed dies

It can be postulated that our beloved Detroit Pistons made Willis Reed what he would become. The Knicks at one time had Reed playing power forward next to Walt Bellamy at center; it wasn't working well. The Pistons, in their infinite wisdom and needing a big man to play center, traded local hero Dav...

Re: Detroit Lions 2023

Veteran edge Romeo Okwara has taken a $9 million pay cut to stay with the Lions! :eek Talk about taking one for the team! :D It puts the team that much more under the cap. Holmes is working magic here, folks. DJ Chark is still available.

+2 on see a doc. However, my father had this happen to him -- and literally almost exactly like you describe. He was diagnosed with Menieres Disease. https://www.nhsinform.scot/illnesses-and-conditions/ears-nose-and-throat/menieres-disease Fascinating. If this is indeed T-Top's diagnosis you're to ...

Get thee to a physician. Do not seek medical advice on bulletin boards.

I would reiterate the importance of staying well-hydrated.

Re: So, What Was This?

Are you drinking enough water? Fainting can be a symptom of dehydration. The nausea sounds like a bug; there are a few really nasty ones going around. In any case, stay well-hydrated -- caffeine and alcohol are diuretic.

Only medical testing can give an exact diagnosis.

Re: NCAA tournament

Can someone please help me understand how Kansas is in the West and Kansas State is in the East? Why is Connecticut in the West and Miami (Fl) in the Midwest? It's the attempt to even out the presumed competitiveness among the four regionals. You'll note the highest seeds in each region are the mos...
