They did... in the '90s when "I Believe I Can Fly" and his Celine Dion duet were factors at AC radio. They likely haven't played him since. Nothing to do with his character; it has to do with the audience for those songs aging out of the AC demos.

The Seattle station that would interest you the most is probably 94.1 The Sound. One caveat, they have Delilah at night.
