Re: Casualties Of Iowa...

All polls for New Hampshire from the last five days show Trump with a double digit lead over the second place candidate. In some cases, his lead is 15 percent or more. If he loses New Hampshire, he's in trouble. If Christie fails to reach double digits, he needs to leave the race. If he cannot do re...

Re: Party Of Inclusion

Bryce, your premise is silly considering most African Americans in elected office are liberal Democrats, including the one in the White House. The Democratic field for President has far fewer candidates than the GOP field, so it isn't exactly a fair comparison you are making Extremely few people vie...

Re: Fiorina Left Out In The Cold...

I have zero issue with Fiorina being excluded. It's not the RNC's fault that her poll numbers are abysmal and that her campaign is dead.

Re: Trump will win...New Hampshire?

Anyone who thinks Iowa's results will doom Trump or that Cruz's win in Iowa makes him the odds-on favorite to be the nominee are wrong. Did Cruz do what he needed to do last night in Iowa? Absolutely (and then some). I figured Cruz and Trump would finish within 2 or 3 percent of one another. For Cru...

Re: Trump will win Iowa and New Hampshire

I don't view Cruz's response as a non-answer. It was a legitimate answer. Some folks just feel his position doesn't go far enough to reform health care, control its cost, and make it more accessible. I am *very* surprised Cruz's conscientious decision to enroll in Obamacare last year hasn't come up ...

Re: Trump will win Iowa and New Hampshire

Here's an interesting twist - a snowstorm, including near or outright blizzard conditions, is forecast to hit parts of Iowa beginning late Monday night. Remember, in caucus states, you cannot just show up and vote throughout the day. You must be physically present at a caucus venue at a scheduled ti...

Re: For the sake of humanity, FIRE Darnell Earley now!!!

The man is a liar as far as Flint is concerned. He personally signed the order directing the switch to the Flint River, and there was never any bill before city council proposing usage of the Flint River, even on a temporary basis.

Re: Trump will win Iowa and New Hampshire

I agree that Trump will win New Hampshire, probably handily. Iowa is a toss-up. Iowa generally favors evangelical conservatives. Recall that Mike Huckabee won there in 2008. Pat Robertson won there in 1988. I'd put the odds at even money between Trump and Cruz. The real question is - aside from Trum...

Re: For the sake of humanity, FIRE Darnell Earley now!!!

There certainly are signs that Earley is incompetent and possibly dishonest, too. The schools are in horrendous, inhumane condition. I agree with Jack.

Earley is misusing the limited funding he has. He needs to be fired ASAP.

Re: A More Measured Analysis Of The Flint Water Crisis

It's not present in my city. My water tastes as it should, leaves no staining, and is the "right" color. I receive testing data in the mail two or four times annually. In all respects, my water has never been even remotely close to violating permitted limits of TTM, metallic compounds, bacteria, lea...

Main takeaways from Snyder's e-mail release...

It's quite evident to me someone performed a keyword search using "Flint" as the search criterion. Of the 274 pages of emails released, only a fraction actually deal with the subject of Flint water! For example, pages 41 & 42 discuss a potential increase in the income tax rate from 1.0% to 1.5%. I'v...

Re: Snyder admin. willfully poisons Flint's water customers

Snyder sure made himself look silly in the below interview with CBS News' Scott Pelley. How could Snyder be completely unaware of the results of the latest lead tests? Aren't Accountants supposed to be "numbers guys" ? Aren't they supposed to be detail-oriented? Snyder had no good answer for Mr. Pel...

Re: WOMC adding 90s music

Great; I can now hear 90's music torn to shreds by WOMC's horrible audio processing algorithm that squashes treble, limits dynamic range and overemphasizes loudness. As bad as WOMC's audio processing sounds with its standard 70's & 80's fare, it sounds all that much worse with 90's fare (granted, th...

Re: A More Measured Analysis Of The Flint Water Crisis

I've certainly drinken well water, but it's never been discolored. The only staining on the sink has been minor "hard water" stains.
