In their last full book, they were losing to WXLO from Worcester and WXKS-AM (a mostly (if not entirely) syndicated AM with no translator) and was tied with WGIR from Manchester, NH

Re: The Palace
After a Bon Jovi concert in 2005, my family and used Harmon to Joslyn to I-75 southbound. My other two Palace visits were to see Queen + Adam Lambert, in 2014 and 2017. In 2017, I was living in Ypsilanti at the time, so it was difficult to get there and back (I used I-75 to Square Lake to Telegraph ...

Re: 102.7 wmom back on air
Its new site is (very slightly) short spaced to 102.9 in Grand Rapids. However, it's not as bad as 96.3 WKLA's short spacing to 96.3s in Peshtigo and Petoskey.

If I were iHeart, I'd consider either taking WSNX into more of a Rhythmic direction or flipping 101.3 or 96.1 to Urban

Re: WTWS 92.1 The Twister Off-Air??
Got back to Houghton Lake a few years ago. Seems like there's a WalMart where the WHGR towers used to stand. But at the time, the studio was close by the old location. The original Walmart was at this location. When Walmart decided to carry groceries, many of the stores relocated. Now Tractor Suppl...

Re: Dam failures
Local TV gets a big fat "F" for its coverage -- or monumental lack of -- of the dam/bridge failures and evacuations last night. They break into programming to blubber on endlessly about tornado warnings and watches, but totally dropped the ball on this one. Pathetic. 7&4 led their news with this (a...

Re: 102.7 wmom back on air
As I've seen on here, WMOM is at least part of the reason why WRVM built the full-power 90.9 in Sheboygan and bought the 88.5 in Sturgeon Bay (around the same time WPFF was sold to K-Love)

97.5 Nash has been on lower power for a few weeks now. It’s a mix of them and KLT to just about Shelby. To the south the signal starts to get staticky just south of the Muskegon County line. By time you drive by the GH football field they are quite staticky and just south of M-45 are all but gone! ...
