Re: Amtrak remains a joke
For more than a year my wife took the train Ann Arbor to Chicago almost monthly. She took the mid morning train on Fridays and returned on the late train Sunday. Other than the late train occasionally being 20-60 minutes late she never had serious issues. Sidebar: On the upside this never happens on...

It’s simply not that simple. They are having reliability issues with their Siemens made locomotives. Michigan, Illinois and Wisconsin DOT’s were the first to buy them and they are a disaster. They are registered to Illinois DOT so they may actually own them. It’s a Midwest partnership at at any rat...

Re: Detroit Lions 2022
They are half a team. The offense leads the league in scoring. If the defense was any good at all they could be 4-0.

I think the point is you are fine conjuring up an extremely overinflated "danger" as justification to shoot anyone you disagree with.

Wasn't the Tucker contract paid by private donors?
Assuming at some point they have buyers remorse who is on the hook for the money?

Given that she is with a group well known for murder and violence, was asked to leave and she didn't, he made a reasonable decision. Stand your ground is a stupid law, but it's the law. At her age, she should have known better... Here's just a taste of what this organization is capable of doing.......

Here is a links to the two bills. They are only two pages each. I read them and it doesn't appear to me they give the power described above by any means. https://www.legislature.mi.gov/documents/2021-2022/billenrolled/House/pdf/2021-HNB-4631.pdf https://www.legislature.mi.gov/documents/2021-2022/bil...

The first time I ever saw the phrase "sweater puppy's" was in the old Shay's jugs thread.
Ah the good old days.

Re: Big Ten talk
Fuck this team. I honestly thought this week would show what kind of coach Tucker is and the quality of players we had. It sure did. A fucking embarrassment. I don't want to take too much away from Minnesota who is a legitimate squad, but to be so completely dominated and embarrassed at home like t...

Allow me to elaborate.. Wyoming gets more than 150% return in federal funding compared to what is paid in federal income tax. Wyoming gets closer to $1.39 I think but in any case they are not at the top of the list. More like ninth. Allow me to elaborate.. Wyoming is living off the federal governme...

Re: Why So Many Black People in Commercials?
The bar chart represents average hours per month.
So while blacks lead in hours per month on average they are far from total hours watched because they are only about 13% of the population.

Re: Why So Many Black People in Commercials?
The Hispanic population as of 2020 in the U.S. is 18.7 percent and the African American population is 12.4 percent, so I agree that the pie chart is "phony." I have no reason to dispute the bar graph from Nielsen, though. Not only is the pie chart phony it says it's phony at the bottom of the chart...
