Biden wants $80 billion for law enforcement
It's finally time to go after those criminals who have not been following the law for almost a decade. President Biden is expected to propose giving the Internal Revenue Service an extra $80 billion and more authority over the next 10 years as he looks for ways to raise money to pay for his economic...

Europe instead of Canada
Europe will be open to us pro-vaxers. Canada? Not likely. I'm dusting off my passport. https://www.nytimes.com/2021/04/25/world/europe/american-travel-to-europe.html BRUSSELS — American tourists who have been fully vaccinated against Covid-19 will be able to visit the European Union over the summer,...

The G.O.P. is getting worse
From the Republican David Brooks. Based on some of the discussions in here I think he's dead on. Those of us who had hoped America would calm down when we no longer had Donald Trump spewing poison from the Oval Office have been sadly disabused. There are increasing signs that the Trumpian base is ra...

Re: United States House Member Fomenting Insurrection
She worshiped for a racist. She tried to over throw our government. She threatened democracy. It was unfortunately, but bad things can happen while performing insurection. Too bad the cop didn't kneel on her neck until she died. Hey, Shuts Up has a point. This was an unarmed white woman. A veteran. ...

For someone who is incompetent, he sure is getting more done in his first 100 days then the orange supremacist did.
I'm very happy with how things are going and look forward to Joe moving forward with his corporate tax strategy and gun safety measures.

I've got to admit the Republicans sure have killed some very worthy bills in the past.
Gee Bryce you seem to have overlooked many of those.

Re: Another Black Eye For The F.B.I.
If they were your type of cop they would have just killed him on the spot. The point is that law enforcement really can't do anything until someone commits a crime or behaves in a way that suggests violence is very likely. If they did an evaluation and he happened to be in a good frame of mind at th...

Re: Rollback on restrictions isn't working
Michigan is currently at 17.5 percent. It is ridiculous that people insist high traffic businesses need to stay open. I think you need to update your numbers. 28% completion of doses as of 4/15. https://www.michigan.gov/coronavirus/0,9753,7-406-98178_103214-547150--,00.html That's our infection rat...

Re: Rollback on restrictions isn't working
We have walk-up clinics in Grand Traverse County 4 to 5 days a week. The issue that I see is that each county is responsible for their own response. In Indiana it seems like it is a coordinated effort from the State Health Department. So it could be a problem in one part of the state and not elsewhe...

At home treatment and care of COVID
Here is an interesting perspective...
This is a fairly lengthy testimony about doing more than just declaring someone positive for the virus. There are ways to minimize spread and risk of death in active covid patients who are recovering at home.
