Re: Best Places To Work

Dow is a great place to work. Or did you mean in broadcasting? I don't think that exists. Anybody related to Bill Harris work there? Any former cops? Bill’s kid will want out soon. Hell if I know. It's kind of a big company. I'm sure that any relatives of Bill Harris that work there will destroy th...

Re: Ashlyn Hill

I do live in Sanford, only 3 miles from my home (my house was NOT flooded) because I live near the woods!! That's good. But you really put a lot of unnecessary comments in your posts, ya know? I think that when you said she was from Sanford, everyone was able to figure out that the dam broke there....

I think in the PC world we are in..... Rod n Mario is done.
Mario is employed by the Red Sox in a back-up role. I think he will eventually be back on the air full time somewhere.

Re: Bill Harris' career, a lifetime of cop-supporting

Jesus Christ, 101. Why are you still talking about this? We know all of your thoughts on Harris, Cops, and Harris and Cops. You are just regurgitating things you've already said 100 times or more. You're "Being Pro Police" thread still lives on somewhere in this cesspool of a site, why not just keep...

Re: Matt Sheppard

Bring back Mario. Leave Allen wherever he is. Morris and Gibby are fine. I agree that I miss the days when the game was described without all the hyperbole. When it comes to Gibson and Morris, remember how god-awful Al Kaline was when he joined the TV booth in the 70s. Somehow he managed to be part ...

I'm sick and fucking tired of the term "person of color." What are the rest of us? Opaque? Clear? I look forward to the day when the word "person" covers everyone.

MIdlandguy - I hope you realize that what you are doing is ALSO trolling. Trying to read topics in which you post "Troll" over and over is tiring. Plus, it's not even clear who you are calling a troll, as there is often no context given. Even when you make a quote, which is rarely, it often contains...

I will consider you a troll and in my foe list and ignored forever. Hope we're clear.
Typical Liberal.

Pretty much.

Their gameplan is:

1. Be ignorant.
2. Silence those who disagree.
3. Kill babies.
4. Repeat.
Totally agree.

Re: WJML

Class Action was the JAM Package JML was using when I got there in Nov of 1979: http://www.jingles.com/jam/radioids/ClassAction.php That was truly a great jingle package, and gave JML a big city sound. The station had what I would call a "tight" sound, and the live jocks 24/7 were all great or at l...

Re: WNEM All-time Dream Team

Eric Ghila was never a meteorologist, just a “weather forecaster.” But who needs to be a meteorologist anyway? Eric honed his skills on the radio prior to going to T.V. Unlike many on the small screen, he was genuine. Plus, he had a beard way before they were "cool". I recall him on WSGW for was se...

Many politicians on both sides of the aisle are unethical, morally bankrupt scumbags. The waterboys for the G.O.P. and for the D.N.C. both crack me up. Such fools.
Amen. Too few people recognize this.

Peyton and Waters were not meteorologists. They were just guys who read the weather, while John McMurray was the meteorologist providing the forecasts.

Re: The H*** Show coming to Detroit! That's H*** news!

Can we make it so when we type "H***" it auto corrects to "worthless motherfucker?"

Also, neither the city of Detroit nor the "Detroit market" are "predominantly black," unless there is a new definition of "predominantly." Always some H*** idiot speaking just to hear themselves around here.
