Re: FM Stations That Used To Be Listenable In SE MI, But Now Difficult Or Impossible

I'm glad I don't listen to FM anymore, I wouldn't be able to put up with the aggravation with the interference. I do listen to WWJ occasionally.

Re: Most distant AM/FM/TV signal you ever tuned in?

I listened to KFI back in the 80's when I was up in Saginaw one night. On the TV side, in western Wayne Co. with an outdoor antenna up 40 feet, I watched KXAS out of Dallas, and KENS in San Antonio battle each other back and forth on channel 5 back in the analog days of the 90's. Also in western Sag...

Re: FCC Crackdown On Badly Maintained AM Facilities?

AM's do have better ground conductivity in the winter giving those stations a somewhat better signal, that is not saying that there are some stations that are maintained properly.

There is someone who i know, who after many years had implants removed. Her health has improved greatly as well as her attitude towards life. She will be going to Washington DC later this month (March ‘19) and speaking with the FDA about the implants. I know her and I'm 100% behind her efforts. Gre...

Re: 106.7 WLLZ: Detroit's Wheels (Classic Rock) is here

"Big Rig" Ron Michaels an excellent talent. We had Rig on WRDU/Raleigh 2001-05. Met him once. Very cool dude. He tracks about 10-15 stations, does XTB and is (was) the Tampa IT Director.
I agree, he is a great talent.

Re: 106.7 WLLZ: Detroit's Wheels (Classic Rock) is here

The Big Rig does afternoon drive "live" in Tampa on active rocker WXTB. This station as an active rocker with a H U G E signal that sprinkles in those classic rock staples, in my opinion, it blows The Riff out of the water.
