Re: Please explain..
Wrong then and now. We need a National Election Commission who is the authority on calling the winner. As a member of the media I have never thought the media should be in charge of calling the winner especially in this era when most slant one way or the other. I started feeling that a National Comm...

Re: Has God Spoken?
When I first encountered TCT he was a religious person and I have watched over the years as he has turned away from his beliefs. So I discount anything he says about God or religion.

Re: Viewers Abandoning Fox News In Droves
I have started watching the newscast on WGN America. It is not slanted either way and I enjoy the facts without all the bullshit thrown in. Sean Compton put together a good team and they do a good job.

Re: Please explain..
I agree, but if memory serves, Gore waited a month to give a concession of the the election and then I think the courts decision is what made him finally give up. I think it may well be the same this time.

Ok fine, but it sure isn't up to AP, CNN, MSNBC, Fox etc, etc to declare the winner.

Re: Please explain..
Let's be honest, the only entity that should declare a winner is the Federal Election Commission after all votes are certified which is 10 days after the election and it will be longer this time while thew legal BS bogs it down. Networks shouldn't be crowning anyone a winner.

Re: Please explain..
I don't think everyone was ok with it four years ago. Democrats were not ok with it just as Republicans are not ok with it four years later.

Locally, members of the political parties start gathering yard signs on election day after 5pm and by noon the day after everything is gone.

Traverse City Rally
I have several friends who are at the Trump Rally in Traverse City posting video and pics. Big crowd for a Trump whistle stop. Have to say I am impressed at the turnout.

In the Hall Of Fame of bad ideas, this is one of the better ones. People will stop eating out and either cook at home or use delivery and owners will be the ones that suffer. Gretchen is the gift that keeps taking.

Re: When are we going to accept that we can't stop the Coronavirus from running its course?
We do post stories to our website and have them auto delete at midnight. We don't archive them digitally, just in paper form for doing quarterly reports for FCC. It would have been script only and you would have bitched about that too because anything that doesn't fit your viewpoint doesn't count. E...

Actually I could not as we are not written media, but audio media and we don't record newscasts they are done live with no tape running. So no, I can't link to the story. Without his permission I won't post his sound bites and my ND script would be worthless with them. So try again.

Re: When are we going to accept that we can't stop the Coronavirus from running its course?
It was reported a while back that according to the CDC only 6 percent of the deaths in this country were actual COVID-19 deaths, the rest were attributed to COVID-19 simply because when the person died they had tested positive.
