I'd like to hear YES, like Your's is no disgrace, I've seen all good people, Starship trooper, and Roundabout. Maybe King Crimson(I know I know) once in awhile. Full length songs! Not edits!

A lot of Hall and Oates music, really.

So what's the story with the call letters. Are they still WDTW FM? Also who has the WLLZ calls now?
They were held by an LPTV station up here in TC until about a year ago, I think. So indeed they are available.

Re: 98.7 The Breeze just ruined itself with new Fresh / RnB playlist

Okay, so I'm not from around here, but I've been reading up on this thread anyway. So with all these songs from the original playlist coming back to the station, is the Breeze no longer "ruined?" Or is it still muddled with some of those R&B tracks that bogged the station down in the first place?

Re: Songs that wore out their welcome

"Don't Stop Believing" is the big one for sure, but all of the Journey hits have grown tired on this guy. They are one of the very, very few (non-modern, of course) artists I simply cannot stand.

The last 6 posts have been by the same guy... but what does it matter, people like this station, and that's a good thing.

Surprisingly, the translator comes in to my Long Lake home just fine, as well WLJN's new Cadillac translator on 100.7.

105.5 WDUV of Tampa might be a good choice...

Re: CKWW 580 Adding More 80’s

Speaking of oldies outfits adding 80's music... My local WCCW (107.5 FM) has been adding 80's music for quite a while to their 70's-dominated playlist. They're called "The 70's Station" for cripes sake! Early 80's cuts I don't mind, but that drum machine/synth-slathered mush has got to go, it's like...

Re: Blarney Stone Broadcasting and Roy Henderson

Today, I heard ads from a car dealer in West Branch and a restaurant in Grayling on 101.9. The two cities aren't even in WLDR's local coverage!

My guess is that they're doing this because Blarney Stone is based out of Grayling, but what do I know? It still doesn't make sense!

Why is there 8...count them...8 threads on this station when it's nothing more than a format change???
Because it's that rare moment when people are appreciative of something on here. Before this, most of the Detroit threads were complaints about other stations (among other things).

I swear, the 98.7 threads are everywhere. But it's better than having all those threads complaining about 106.7 or some other station.
