Re: Before They Take The Facebook Page Down Or Change It

I have looked at the suspect's Facebook Page, and there is NOTHING there that would indicate that Roof was racist. I counted 80 friends, hardly a "loner", and at least 16 were Black. There is NOTHING showing a fascination with guns, and there was NOTHING that suggested he was racist. So before they...

Re: 56% say legalize pot in Michigan

There used to be a $5.00 fine in AA for small amounts. Kind of reminds me of a song from the early 1960s by the Orlons, with the line "That's where all the hippies meet". Whether it's AA or CO, if a place has lax or no enforcement, that's what will happen. They'll congregate there. AA really did res...

Re: 56% say legalize pot in Michigan

This country was never intended to be a Democracy. It was intended to be a Representative Constitutional Republic. The people should not decide by vote whether Marijuana is legalized. The reason that the people should not decide, is because they don't have enough facts to make an intelligent choice....

Re: Hypocrites?

It would seem that we are on a slippery slope here. If a person can say that they are born to be transgender, that they are a woman trapped in a man's body, then it is reasonable to claim that they are a black person trapped inside a white person's body. Where do we draw the line? When Elizabeth War...

Re: Battered Woman Stabbed to Death Waiting For Gun Permit..

Couldn't they have just waived some of the requirements due the urgent nature of this situation? There has been no evidence presented that this woman was seeking a permit for "nefarious purposes". So how does that justify her getting killed? We hear so much about politicians looking out for the righ...

Re: Bad Political Drivers

In retrospect, the speaker would have been better off having the family accused of extortion, though it would have exposed the rumor. At that point it would have been one man's word against the other's. Look at Bill Cosby. Seems like there was a case where he had someone charged with extortion. Now ...

Re: Bad Political Drivers

My recollection is that when James Carville and George Stephanopolous commented on Juanita Broaddrick's and other women's rape charges, they did not deny that they happened or even could have happened, but said that the "Statute of Limitations has run out on that one". That is apparently the case on...

Re: Bad Political Drivers

If you read the whole article, only 4 of the 17 charges were for Marco Rubio. Two or more of these were dismissed. The rest were for his wife. And if you notice, the inquiry was initiated by a front group for a 2016 Democrat candidate. That particular candidate hasn't had a citation in over 20 years...

Re: Why Hide The Autopsy Report

With charges as serious as Murder, and even less serious crimes, it should be impossible for the prosecution to withhold exculpatory evidence from the defense. If they are doing this, it is definitely Unconstitutional as it violates the principle of Equal Protection Under The Law, and probably other...

If they steal the marijuana, there is no road repair tax.

Re: Poll: Pot for Potholes

John F. Kennedy was an old school Democrat who loved America. Kennedy was the President who proposed reducing those marginal rates from 91% and Johnson signed it into law. The problem with "taxing the rich" is that there are not enough of them and they only have so much money. The middle class alway...

Or they could increase enforcement, put the convicts on a chain gang, and the pot heads could fix the roads. Cuts out the middle man.

Re: Why Is The Army Training For Urban Warfare?

I'd like to see the reaction if they did training and maneuvers in the Diag to prepare for an insurrection by "students" protesting a War or Marijuana Laws.
