When I play Alexa for 97.1, the broadcasts for Tigers baseball sounds good...In Detroit last weekend and 97.1 radio sounded good...but here in mid-Michigan the 790 WSGW-Saginaw and even 104.9 WQBX Alma-St Louis sound over modulated..even compressed and distorted..

Fan Duel sports had issues with the Tigers and Red Wings broadcasts, and now tonight the Pistons second quarter game in Oklahoma City...Cutting costs and too many technical issues lately......one most notably with the simulcast of a game Detroit game that was broadcast over the air statewide ...

is 107.3 a translator for 1570 AM? Is it still on the air???

KInd of like Detroit Lions pre-season football, the game I think must have been available throughout the state..WNEM TV 5.2 also aired the game in the Tri Cities and Flint...and to confirm((also have Direct TV stream)) the technical difficulties were on the both the Fan Duel Spots and local TV ...

Flipping the dial.....103.9 the Fox playing classic country and classic rock???? Dan Richards the DJ..Special Sunday programming...dont listen this station much....but I thought classic rock/nothing but country so far in seven o clock hour...brokered programming?????

Great move...now with 66.2 as Antenna TV....life is good for the feel good old time shows....

I should also add I do the daily sports reports Monday thru Friday for the ESPN radio affiliate in Fairbanls too via MP3 file and audacity and email

well the times be changing...We made it work for COVID...and now after I have retired from job one from Alaska and back to Michigan...36th season broadcasting Alaska Nanook hockey from just west of Saginaw from a zoom feed from Fairbanks to me via computer and 50 inch TV and rebroadcast on 91.5 KSUA ...

I am just off M46 east of Hemlock/15 miles from Saginaw....6 and 53 I can get....nothing from 47 and 10/29 here in the winter...summertime i have got 29 and 10/29 and the Detroit stations late at night and a flirt with 9 from Cadillac...i want to boost my antenna(s ...

When I think of Lansing top 40 radio...WVIC AM730 comes to mind...got it in Saginaw I my little transistor radio...lol
I think AM1240 WJIM was also top 40.....Who was the ratings leader>>>> nighttime radio...live DJ's...those were the days!!!

fyi...Gray eliminated the news/sports/weather casts from NBC and CBS stations in Fairbanks, Alaska. KFXF and KXDF channels 11/13. They will take a feed from KTUU in Anchorage some 300 plus miles away making it a state wide cast like ABC does from Anchorage for Fairbanks. Fairbanks NBC ran morning ...

and WSGW back on too...got WNSI Norfolk, VA when they off air about sunset
