Perhaps Misogyny Radio and TV Buzzboard is a more descriptive name for this board. I've been of the mind that the mibuzzboard (as in its URL) is really nothing more than a sugar-coating for this place really being the MIBitchBoard, but that's just me. :lol [youtube]https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_...

So, your angle is to take a CNN analysis of one thing, and compare it to a RealClearPolitics analysis of another thing, and expect to make a point out of the mishmash. :rollin :rollin :rollin

Starting to look like it's exactly what he wants, everyone else be damned: https://www.politico.com/story/2019/01/10/republican-senators-government-shutdown-1096118 When Republican Senators gather to plan an idea to end the shutdown, don't involve Democrats in the planning at all...and it's Trump wh...

Re: Golden Tate gets the last laugh!

Actually, it is quite amazing how many players have left various professional Detroit sports teams (quite a few from the Tigers as well) to go on to immediately be successful somewhere else. Is it just me, or does it seem like it's getting to where there's incentive to play badly because they're in...

Re: Casey Kasem The 80’s

Some nearby stations that did carry CT40 at that time, in addition to WVKS, included 102.5 WIOG (which also carried AT40), B96.9 out of Port Huron, and Lansing's Z101.7. I think Flint's CK105.5 may have had it too after WIOG switched to Hot AC in the early '90s. WIOG may have had AT40 all the way u...

Re: Casey Kasem The 80’s

The 80s has been a series since 2007, actually. Though WNIC playing them would be news to me; they'd previously had the series but had dropped it back at the end of 2010 - that coincided with the change to Fresh 100. Now, as for the 90s, don't count on that coming to fruition anytime soon, regardles...

Verdicts: HB 6553 - vetoed SB 1250 - died in the House SB 1176 - vetoed SB 1197 - signed And I'm not sure of all the bills that dealt with implementing Proposals 2 and 3. He did sign SBs 1238-1242 though, which addressed Proposal 3. Lastly, he did also sign HB 6595, the proportionality requirement o...

That said... Most of these are unconstitutional. Explain? I've seen how the minimum wage/paid sick leave changes have the constitutionality issue, but what's the specific question(s) on these? All things considered though, with these kinds of stunts, it wouldn't shock me to see a future ballot quest...

Re: Michigan Legislature tries for a power grab...

Republicans say the reforms are overdue, and they’d support them even if they didn’t control the Legislature. Such an obvious lie, when the truth is that not one of these would even be put forth without the looming prospects of losing even a modicum of state control. HB 6553 appears when the AG's o...
