As long as the drug companies see value in them, nightly network newscasts will be around.

No matter the reason behind this, Simnitch should walk away with her head held high.
She won’t have any trouble, whatsoever, finding a much better job in TV or elsewhere.
SS did a great job @ Brewvine & 10 when she was there. If she has been as good or better in this market since, I agree 100%!

Re: Name The Beer

See 'History' here: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rolling_Rock "In 2015, Anheuser-Busch stopped brewing bottled Rolling Rock in glass-lined tanks. Only the canned beer was now being brewed using the traditional process." It was quite good back in the '90's, but "this once distinctive semi-premium be...

Re: California introduces bill banning paper receipts

Many receipts are full-on ads on the back side - often full-color, and not even related to the store you receive it from. Most stores offer the option to go paperless these days - even so much as asking if you even want a receipt at all. It doesn't need to be legislated. Just more BS government over...

Re: Deleted Users?

It looked at one time as though at least one of these 'deleted user' accounts was still posting, but perhaps I was seeing things. Or there's a bug in software?

It would be really cool if there was a "Purge" option to flush 'em.

Re: Belligerent Freedom of Speech: One of the best things about the USA

The request from NZ - however over the top / over-reaching / stupid it may seem - was polite, civil. Whether they have the authority or not, it 'doesn't hurt to ask'. While I side with the site's operator as far as rights, the disparaging remarks in the response were not only unneeded, but almost ce...

Re: Lily Singh

Late Night With Carson Daily is going away. It will be replaced by a show featuring Lily Singh who is some kind of You Tube personality. The only thing I've seen her in was in a show I don't want to admit I watch, (also I saw her book at Wal Mart.) Does anyone out there know anything about her? Yay...

Re: You can't argue with a sick mind...

Somehow I can't get the YouTube videos to work on my browser, but I'm sure I know what this is. Kermit Schafer had it on one of his Blooper albums. The recording itself was a sort of gag made by whoever produced the ad for personal enjoyment. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fKpDZigvoVo I recall ano...

Re: A CBS News anchor shake-up could be in the works

I like Glor, but maybe he's not 'shiny' enough. CBS has nothing to be ashamed of in the news dept, but the trend generally seems to me to be more & more women filling the chairs.

If anyone is struggling, it's CNN.

Hmm... most common beers, now in plastic cups.

Is TT winding down the supply getting ready for a run for the border?
