Re: 99.3 wqan and 92.3 wbnz

Both 92.3 WBNZ and 99.3 WQAN are on the air. Both stations appear to have RDS. WBNZ is displaying its call letters and "Chainsaw Rock". Still airing that rock music loop. WQAN is displaying its call letters only. It is airing 60s and early 70s oldies music. WBNZ seems to be running a little more pow...

Re: The Big Opening To The East

In Grand Rapids (visiting my sister), I had a lot of stations in to the north/northeast (most of the big ones in the northern LP, several Detroit stations, four Cleveland stations, CKSY/CHYM). My highlights had to be getting 96.9 WWCM mixing with WLAV and managing to get around several translators ...

Re: 2020 Presidential Polls

Drove through rural parts of SW Michigan last week (Allegan, Van Buren, Cass, St. Joseph, Hillsdale, Calhoun, Jackson, and Barry counties) and saw way more Trump signs than Biden signs. There were also lots of signs for downballot Republicans, such as John James, Fred Upton, Tim Walberg, and state r...

Re: CBC article about stations going off the air

To be honest, this is not a good time for Canadian Broadcasters, as they just got DTV frequencies cut, DTV transitioning and the stations go off the air allot easier. This could be a big learning point for Canada's broadcast companies. But to make any changes, broadcasters must ask to change busine...

Re: Plastic Pelosi gets here hair did

Just another example of "do as I say, not as I do" by Democrats over the last few months. Other examples include: - The mayor of Philadelphia dining indoors at a restaurant in Maryland while indoor dining is still illegal in his own city (this action wasn't illegal as indoor dining is allowed in MD,...

I saw data back in the spring that showed that a vast majority of COVID deaths in Italy were in victims with multiple underlying medical conditions

Also, it wouldn't be 33 degrees Celsius, as that converts to around 90 degrees Fahrenheit

Re: WBMI West Branch Brouhaha

WBMI is one of the few full-power stations in northern Michigan that I have never received (WLJD is another). If they were on, I might have gotten them by now with WSRJ off as well

Just like nobody could take WTCM FM down in Traverse. Uncle Henderson went dark trying so. That's what happens, when Boss Hogg challenges J.R. Ewing. :lol That's a very nice analogy! :rollin 'TCM is so dominant that it also destroys multiple country stations (WLXV, WKZC, and WWBR come to mind) that...

Re: Nielsen No More?

Assuming 106.7 does go classic country, does 96.7 the Bull remain as is or does it flip to a simulcast of 106.7?
