Notice to all Buzzboard readers & posters: A requested server migration took place Saturday evening. Unfortunately, I did not re-point my DNS records to the new server until roughly 7:45p ET on Monday, November 12. As a result, any posts and new user registrations occurring between the nighttime hours of 11/10 and approximately 7:45p ET on Monday, 11/12 have been lost.

This was unavoidable, and the longer I waited to re-point to the new server, the greater the number of posts that would've been lost.

Please feel free to resubmit any threads / posts you created. They will NOT be lost this time! Many thanks for your patience these past couple of weeks while I've worked to migrate the Buzzboard to a more secure, more robust platform.

Re: Now that Midwest is fixing up its K'zoo cluster...

I seriously wonder if anyone is aware Fuel 92.1 even exists. There has been zero promotion to the station. The only publicity the new format received was an article in the LSJ, and that dealt more with the death of the sports format. The playlist is all over the place, and I can't imagine anyone bei...

Re: SXM Holiday Traditions

Re-igniting this topic again 2 years later. I wonder if Holiday Traditions will get a decent spot with halfway decent bitrate, and stereo, unlike some years when they got a cruddy mono signal, and they were sponsored by the USPS? Haven't seen Christmas schedule yet for SXM, but I heard Andy William...

Re: Eric Zane to WBBL

TC, you are right on. Zane on his show is playing the "Free Beer" role, leaving Julius and others to play the role that Zane did so well on FB&HW. It is an adjustment for the listener and Zane himself. Personally I'm liking the show - a work in progress but I find it entertaining enough to tune in.

Re: WSJH-FM Construction Permit

Calvert, the funny thing is, they ID the station as "WSJH Hubbardston, St Johns". Noticed today it is off the air.

Re: WSJH-FM Construction Permit

They've been on the air for several months now, from a location north of Hubbardston. It's been playing the same music found on Smile FM, but isn't broadcasting their programming.

Re: WKAR-AM to get translator

Good Shepherd Catholic Radio has been looking for a Lansing station....seems like WWSJ with its translator would be a good fit.

Re: Another translator app for G.R. - this time, for 94.1 FM

So is this really the FCC's answer to fixing AM - allowing all these FM translator stations? If so, why not just scrap the AM band all together? I'm not advocating for that by any means, but it seems like that is the inevitable ending by doing it this way.

Re: Clinton County Radio History

I'll have to admit, it wasn't too hard digging these up. The Clinton County Historical Society earlier this year posted 10 years worth of Clinton County News on the Clinton County Website http://www.clinton-county.org/Resources/HistoricalSociety/ClintonCountyNewsArchives19661976.aspx . So many inter...

Re: Is 92.1 WQTX changing formats - County to Big Ticket

Anyone know why 92.1 magically changed from "The Ticket" to "The Team" midway through the day yesterday?
