Agreed...need some personality on this station, and jingles!

Incidentally, has anyone figured out how many titles are in the library yet? I can’t believe that any station could last for any period of time given the small amount of titles. The repetition is ridiculous.

IMO,
- Syndicated morning show
- Less of a local feel
- Dropping of the legacy ‘FM98’ name
- More competition from Hot 107.5, Kiss 105.9, Channel 955
- Non-terrestrial radio as competition

I don’t expect a 1,000 song library, but this is ridiculous. Does 98.7s library consist of 200 songs? Ugh.

At least when Doug 93.1 was around, there were no jocks either, but the library seemed much larger.

Except when CSX did it, they had me in the production room for days making sure EVERY song was properly titled, intro times were correct, and every cart number matched up. You know, that silly "live bodies in the studio" thing. The jocks cared about their craft and didn't wanna talk over the intro ...

So first they pull the Manilow/Christopher Cross music and add R&B AC, and looks like now a lot of that has been pulled for mind-numbing overplayed tunes (Every Breath You Take, Time After Time, Don’t Stop Believing)...ugh...

Is there any chance Entercom knew that Breeze 1.0 was just a stunt (maybe to throw off WNIC or something like that)? The number of titles in library were extremely small....I would have loved to be a fly on the wall to hear the discussions, all the way from the beginning, when Entercom pimped the AM...

Seems like there’s more overlap with WOMC now, which is odd. Certainly the ‘oh wow!’ songs have been eliminated.

I agree with MW - regardless of whether you enjoyed The Breeze 1.0, the current format does seem to cover a more desired demo.

IMO, Valenti would be a lot more entertaining if he had an actual co-host. It’s pathetic to hear his “yes” men like Sully and Hatchet. I remember listening to him when he was auditioning in New York for a gig, and how having an equal actually helped by keeping some of his arrogance in check.

Many of these projected lineups are fantastic, with great talent. But this is 2018!
