Apparently Grimes, a young former first-rounder, was the crux of the Bojan/Burks deal. I would hope they have more advanced plans for him than riding the end of the bench.

As it stands right now, the Tigers may end up with a six-man starting rotation once the season gets going in earnest. However, I'm counting on the usual spring training arm injury(ies).

Nick Maton was traded to Baltimore for cash.

He should end up in AAA after hitting .173 last season.
