Re: Palin in ICU
Anyone with any class puts politics aside and wishes them well, as I do. I suppose. On the other hand there is an average of 11,000 people a day admitted to ICU , almost 4 million a year. So were it not for the politics of it why would anyone in Michigan know or care about a snow mobile accident in...

Re: Trump = Liar
every politician is a pathological liar. I don't think "psychopathic" liar is a generally acknowledged term.

Re: Take your time with SCOTUS
Just a side bar but more Supreme Court decisions are 9-0 than 5-4. Its just that most of the 9-0 votes are not exactly hot button topics.

Re: Does Trump want to be president?
unfortunately in the world of politics what makes you "legit" is votes. Its a sort of chicken and egg thing. He is "legit" because people are voting for him.Y M Ionhere wrote:What irritates me is the number of voters who think he's legit--and are actually supporting him.

Re: Does Trump want to be president?
I don't know if he wants to be president or just win the game. In either case taking the oath of office Jan 20th is the measure.

Re: Would you vote for Trump in November?
good to know. When I mentioned this once upon a time to somebody else they seemed doubtful anyone would physically look at it.NS8401 wrote:They read it... I've worked a few elections and read some interesting ones..

Re: Would you vote for Trump in November?
I always show up and vote but in recent years when it comes to president I mark the write in box and write "none of the above". I assume, but I could be off base, that by marking the write in box somebody actually has to read what was put there. Maybe I'm disillusion. I figure if at least one person...

Re: Trump VS Pope
Until yesterday Donald has never claimed to be a Christian - Only a Presbyterian huh? Can you clarify what you mean by that? It suggests one could think of themselves as a Presbyterian but not a Christian. I don't see how that makes sense. As to the Pope it is my observation through my wife's famil...

Re: Trump VS Pope
Its a bad idea to get in a pissing match with the Pope if you want to get elected. There are a lot of Catholics in this country (my wife is one), many who will rally around the Pope even if they may agree more with Trump on a given issue.
