I noticed this morning there's no morning show this morning. Just Al Pervin reading the news and doing weather..... No info on the absence on their Facebook page.

Here's the new logo for The Answer. No mention of the AM signal.

Looks like WLQV has updated their site and indeed has it listed as 101.5 in the logo.
Personally, I'd rather them both be off the air (their Translators anyway) I too live in Windsor, and it interferes with CJSP and WRVF.

I hope it lasts, I'm a regular listener and enjoy this radio station very much. Aside of the rocky Cancon songs, I like the playlist. If I could program the station, I'd drop the "heavier" songs and add more pop, and softer songs. But I hope this station sticks around.

CKOC has a way better logo. Also the slogan is better than "Made in Windsor" what makes me think it'll be music and talk programming.

Same voice overs and jingles... But I'm sure that will come to an end sometime before Monday

Just heard a message on the Roger Ashby oldies show that's currently airing. He said that it will no longer be heard on am 580 as the radio station has been sold. I know we had 105.1 the groove back more than 24 years ago (Yikes, I'm getting old) and yes it had its quirks with a tight playlist and it became stale. However that being said, If done correctly, could this format work now? I think it would be a good thing for 105.9 FM and compliment 105.1 WMGC ...
