Re: 105.1 WMGC HD2 off the air?
In the Toledo market, Cumulus killed all HD broadcasts except WQQO-HD2 to feed the 100.7FM translator. Clear Channel/iHeart killed off the two AM-HD signals but run the AM's on the HD-2 of WRVF and WIOT (stereo audio from WSPD on WRVF and Fox Sports on WIOT) and feed their hip-hop FM translator from...

Re: Latest Toledo radio ratings
Doesn't iHeart essentially 'give' Fox Sports to their affiliates at zero cost?

Re: Latest Toledo radio ratings
Boy, iHeart's AM stations are taking a beating in the last year- SPeeDy lost about a fourth of it's audience in a year? And they're available on 1370KHz, 92.9MHz, WRVF-HD2 and online- more choices than ever- so content is the issue, not availability anymore. Seaway would be better off playing elevat...

Re: SiriusXM and Cancellations
They leave off their niche stations that boomers might like, such as Escape and Willie's Roadhouse, as well as Sinatra and 40's.
Too bad they just don't give you the whole shebang for 2 weeks.

Re: SiriusXM and Cancellations
FYI, TheForce- there will be a free preview period from November 16-29, so you can test out your old SatRad equipment.
Speaking of which, anyone in the market for an XM all-in one boombox?

Re: SiriusXM and Cancellations
The Force, try again, and see if they can give you the Select package with online for that same rate? Online is good for one thing- the audio quality is 4x better than the turd audio in your car tuner. Keep working your way up and down the ladder at the cancellation department until you get to a Can...

Re: SiriusXM and Cancellations
No online cancellation; not paying results in bill collection; you HAVE to talk to a real person for 20 minutes to cancel, and if you hold out 3x, you will eventually get the $5-$6/month deal for 5-6 months tops, or a year for about $117 + tax + royalties.
It's always a game with them.

Re: Music Choice on Intnernet Radio?
Plate Cap, you and I must have the same (good) taste in Music- yes, the volume is louder on the EZ, and I think it said 126kbps AAC 44.1kHz as well. Save Ferris: were you ever able to find a program that could decode the m3U8 playlist on an old Apple iPad (v6) without upping the iOs to where it bogg...

Re: Music Choice on Intnernet Radio?
Plate Cap summed it up for me too- I'd love to just be able to punch up a button on my internet radio. Somewhat OT: What exactly does an 'Turtle Beach AudioTron' digital player do? I'm assuming it's can't replicate my Internet radio, probably needs a computer connected to it, and since it's older th...

Re: Music Choice on Intnernet Radio?
iPod doesn't like it as I don't have a source for ios 7.1.1 and still have the old stable 6, and going to the latest 8 or 9 will render an iPad2 useless; so, I'm trying it on a old POS android phone.

Re: Music Choice on Internet Radio?
Yeah, the MPC just kept on saying "opening" forever. I guess all we can hope for is that Grace Digital writes some new code for a software/firmware update, or we're screwed on these. Squeezebox is already toast for the most part, and they aren't writing any new code for that unfortunately, and that'...

Re: Music Choice on Intnernet Radio?
I'm like you, I like an easy to use 'desk/table radio' for 6 of my favorite internet radio stations on my dedicated Internet Radio. I would be happy to mail a check to Music Choice for $3/mo or $36/year for Grace/Receva and/or Logitech/TuneIn access- don't know why they (MC) wouldn't do that as it m...

Music Choice on Intnernet Radio?
Any idea if there's a way to stream a single channel from 'Music Choice' on an Internet Radio ? (Grace Digital Mondo, or Logitech Squeezebox)?
