On a semi tangental note Xfinity has the first five seasons of Saturday Night Live. It's under TV / NBC/ Saturday Night Live/ Season 1-5, (along with seasons 30 through 46.) I watched the episode Frank Zappa hosted in 1978, (he meets the Coneheads.)

Holy Grails

Does anyone out there have a certain program, movie, or anything else TV related that can be a Holy Grail. That would be something that you have waited years and years to see. With the rise of the Internet and Youtube they are a lot less of them, but some things still remain lost. I guess an example...

Re: 98.7 Alternative!

What does "Alternative" actually mean in 2020? I'm 52 and when it comes to music made in the last ten years I'm a little lost on certain things.

Conan To End TBS Show

Conan O' Brian will end his TBS show at the end this season. He''s moving on to HBO Plus for some kind of variety show. When his show went to a half hour I stop watching it, (I kind of moved on to Jimmy Fallon.)

I always had them in a clump with Prism, (or any group who opened for REO Speedwagon in 1981.)

I think it was before the CBC went 24/7. The cable company used the dead air time for infomercials.

Todd's original 1978 song "Can We Still Be Friends" (from "Hermit Of Mink Hollow") is way better than the late Robert Palmer's remake from 1979 "Secrets".

It was also covered by Mandy Moore a few years ago.

Rain

Can anyone out there think of any song with the word rain in it? Here are two to start:

Beatles / Rain
Led Zeppelin / The Rain Song

His last charting song was For The Want Of A Nail from 1989, (which is also an amazing song that should get more airplay.)

My favorite Todd Rundgren might be from his first album Runt; Baby Lets Swing / The First Thing You Said / Untie My Hands, ("Laura, I saw you open in LA, There's something I've got to say.")

Re: Unique Edit Of "Hello It's Me"

I've owned it. It's an amazing album.

I saw Todd Rundgren at the Ritz in 1995. The only song he did from Something Anything was Black Mariah.
