Re: The WLLZ Fix List.

A couple of weeks ago on the New Wheelz I heard the dj say "Here's Metallica." The next thing I heard was Bad Company. I thought it was kind of funny.

Re: Bemidji Minnesota

The rules are not as strict in Minnesota. That seems to be the case. I did a search of Radio and TV stations in northern Minnesota. In Duluth which is 155 miles east of Lake Itasca have stations that begin with both K and W. International Falls, which is also east of that point, has three radio stat...

Re: WOMC

Deep Blue Something's Breakfast at Tiffanies is from 1995, 24 years ago. A song from 1971 played in 1995 would like be considered and oldie of some sort. I guess it a matter of perspective. The Audrey Hepburn move Breakfast At Tiffanies came out in 1961 so the film is definitely an oldie. The Truman...

Re: Bemidji Minnesota

There is something I always wondered about TV and Radio in Northern Minnesota. Stations that begin with a K are west of the Mississippi River and stations that begin with a W are east of it. That river begins at Lake Itasca in northern Minnesota. How do they determine K And W prefixes when there is ...

Re: 25 Five Years Later / The Great Detroit Switch

The WGPR of 1994 wasn't exactly the WGPR people fondly remember. Among the things that were gone were: The Scene DR Who Those weird late movies, (Not it's actual title but it might as well be) Big City News Dark Shadows I think the Arab Voice Of Detroit was still around in 94. The things I remember ...

Re: Network programming preemptions by individual stations

I do not know what was bumped but Channel 4 had a Jimmy Hoffa special, most likely to capitalize on the release of Martin Scorse's The Irishman.
(On a semi related to did anyone out there see this movie? I saw it last week. The film is not as good as Goodfellas but worth seeing.)

25 Five Years Later / The Great Detroit Switch

It's been 25 years since the affiliate switch of 1994. I know this topic has been discussed a lot but I think this anniversary deserves some noting. Anyone out there have any thoughts on the subject, (there many people here that has joined this board since 2015.)

Re: Network programming preemptions by individual stations

Tonight's Blacklist is new. Does anyone know if Channel 4 is going to move it to another time or just not show it? If I was still watching that show I'd
be ticked, (but I stopped watching The Blacklist a few years ago so whatever.)
