First, while 50 every so often show films during overnight hours I don't think they have done this in at last two years, (probably longer.) Second, they usually show a movie th...
I'm certainly no expert in any regard in paving technology, but I do recall reading that the Mackinac Bridge roadway surface, a number of years ago, was a focus of an ongoing study by asphalt industry technical groups.
The show open with Kate McKinnon (as Hillary) playing the piano and singing I Will Remember You the week after the election had me scratching my head. Re: Hard Rock/Metal Radio

One of the last times I was in LA there was a station called KNAC that kind of sounds like the station you described. I don't know long that format lasted. This was December of 1988.

Re: Odd Double Bills

When I saw B.O.C in 1992, (awhile past the arena years) They played Todd's (yeah I know it used to be a gay bar.) The opening act was Psychofunkepus, a little remembered early 90's funk band. Despite the audiences apathy they were really good. (after the show I sort of talked to the bass player who ...

Odd Double Bills

Can anyone out there think of some odd double bills they've heard of or seen? I can think of two: About ten years ago 38 Special and Ziggy Marley played on the same bill at the Phoenix Center, (I can't remember the full name, it's in Pontiac.) In 1978 The Jam Opened four dates for Blue Oyster Cult, ...
