WDET / New Transmitter/ Jesus Christ Superstar
Today I heard on WDET an announcement first apologizing for their buzzing signal due their use of a backup transmitter, (complete with the "What's the buzz tell me what's a happening song" from Jesus Christ Superstar.) Then they mention their plans to get a new transmitter. Has anyone out their hear...

Re: Sensual songs
10,000 Maniacs (with Mary Ramsey taking over singer Natalie Merchant) did a great remake of Roxy Music 1982 remake of "More Than This" back in 1997!!
I've heard it. That version of the band played it on an episode of Sabrina The Tee...

BBC news is on PBS /WTVS/56 at 6:00 AM and 7:00 PM. Many public radio stations also air BBC programing overnight, (you can hear about what's going on in Gabon and Eritrea.)

Re: Rock Radio Scorecard
Right now the only Rock station i have on my presets is WCSX. I kind of keep track of songs they played that are a nice surprise. In The last month I can recall two of them, Thirty Days In The Hole, (Humble Pie), and Roundabout, (Yes.) I remember hearing Psycho Killer, (Talking Heads) on that statio...

Re: SNL Commercials
Also liked the "Mr. Bill" Safety commercials LOL
Didn't Mr Bill do some comercials for Burger King?
I looked it up. Mr Bill did ads for Ramada Inn and Pizza Hut. Lowe and Home Depot commercials would have been funny but problematic.

Re: Is Homer Simpson Middle Class?
Maybe a better question is are the Simpsons still watchable? My answer is yes but it was funnier in the 90's.

I like the Roches version of The Halleujah Chorus. You can see it on a SNL episode from November 1979 hosted by Bea Arthur.

SNL Commercials
About two months ago I discovered that Xfinity On Demand has the first five seasons of SNL. I binged watched all 106 of them. This leads me to a couple of questions. Does anyone have a favorite Commercial Parody from that period? I guess mine would be Super Bassomatic. The next one might be a little...
