Re: Bill Harris, Broadcasting Hall of Fame inductee

Amazing how an esteemed journalist who has been in this market for 40+ years and has several awards still has one loser that wants to piss on his high honor.

Congrats to Bill Harris. It’s a well deserved honor

Re: Random observations

In regards to GRD’s playlist, I’m really starting to wonder if the playlist is being dictated from corporate. Too much 60’s / 70’s classic rock for an active rock station. Their sister station Banana 101.5 sounds damn near the same way...

I don’t post much in this section as I don’t like debating politics, as you will never change my mind and I probably won’t change others. But after reading this, I’ve got one thing to say: It is truly my belief that EVERYONE, despite how much they deny it, is a racist to some degree or another. It ...

Re: My First Ever Case

As soon as the plant manager read the award he called me. Said he planned to bring the guy back to work Monday morning and asked if I could be there to meet with them. Monday morning came and we went into the managers office. He said he had received the award and he understood that he had no choice...

Re: Best sounding radio station of all time

Wish I had save the airchecks I recorded of the original Q106 back in the day (all on cassettes of course). It was a unique approach to rock-based CHR of the day. I remember the day they launched the format, knowing that the change was coming with a corresponding signal boost to reach Lansing. PD/m...

Regardless of his views, Custer’s smarmy, superior to you TV personality is the biggest reason I don’t watch TV5 for news.

Didn’t Mike leave WXYZ only because his contract wasn’t renewed?

I’m sure if he can get back into the Detroit market at the end of his contract, he’ll be gone ASAP

After reading this site and many others with public comment sections, I am astounded at how many people don't know the difference between "Damn" and "Dam." To demonstrate the difference: What happened in Edenville and Sanford were dam failures, while Gretchen Whitmer and Dana Nessel are damn failur...

I've seen the Traverse City whiskey at Meijer but I'm not sure it's worth the price. It would be nice to find a shooter for a buck or two to try it first.
I absolutely love their whiskey, especially their cherry whiskey. I’m hooked on their cherry whiskey sour that they make at their tap room
