Re: Boyd Leaving
Morale is very low. Custer berating producers doesn't help either. One of the reasons that Colette left was that she was denied the night off for a school function involving her child. After seeing Custer got his way and got the night off for Cher, she realized how unappreciated she was. Lots of un...

Re: WIOG is #1 in Saginaw-Bay City; WGER barely defeats Houghton Lake station
So, if it’s only 250 watts, it sounds like Gladwin’s 103.1 WGDN and their classic country format would still come in better in Bay City and Saginaw....

Re: WIOG is #1 in Saginaw-Bay City; WGER barely defeats Houghton Lake station
Now that we have a classic country station in Midland, what’s the format hole in the Tri Cities? Classic Hits / 80’s is all I’m thinking of....

HL101 was let go from both TV5 and TV25. "It" is a he who thought he was better than everyone else... until he burned bridges and is now relegated to trolling his former coworkers on the Buzzboard. He'll deny it. But many people on the Buzzboard know HL101's true identity. And am I guessing that he...

C’mon Mark - look at the last 24-48 hours of posts by this “it” - all the “it” does is post things to completely aggravate and harass others here. The posts and replies in the Detroit and Tri Cities Board that “it” posted are classic troll behavior, as any thread “it” posts on quickly goes off topic...

Re: 99.3 WQAN Signal Strength
Was on M32 in Gaylord today when I saw a Q100 billboard east of Meijer. Tuned in 100.3 then and could barely pick it up. Put it on 99.3 and what I could pick up definitely wasn’t the same song. Kind of sad that they can barely be heard where they place a billboard

Re: Classic Rock and Classic Country Hybrid Format
What you’re describing is kind of what the then Mt Pleasant, now Saginaw’s 94.5 CEN (now known as the Moose) was. Their slogan was “Hot Rockin’ Country” and they played all of the southern rock you mentioned above. It was actually the only country station I could tolerate

Re: The End of my Walmart Years
I’m sure TT was joking.
The Wilder Rd Meijer in Bay City (that I frequent the most) pulled out about 4-6 self scan no limit checkouts within the past year and replaced them with cashier lanes. I’m assuming too much theft and not enough use. Good to see...

Despite damn near all of us wanting Mix 106.3 WGER to change formats, management at Alpha Media is apparently sticking with their low rated format. Alpha Media just posted a job opening for middays there. What are they seeing that we’re not?

Re: WalMart Radio
I googled Walmart radio. They have their own Facebook page, have live DJ’S and WallyWorld has provided toll free number for their associates to call in requests (Give us your name and store number!)

Re: WIOG is #1 in Saginaw-Bay City; WGER barely defeats Houghton Lake station
WGER should come in like gangbusters in Saginaw and Bay City. Their signal is no weaker than Wheelz (it's actually stronger than Wheelz in Bay City). Wheelz gets double the ratings of WGER on a consistent basis. WGER's ratings stink because their programming sounds bush league. Good point about KCQ...
