Re: Bryan Bachman

Big move for Bryan. Wonder if they will keep the weekend guys splitting the nights or move Chris off mornings to the evenings. The smart move imo would be to move Chris to nightside and Mondroe to mornings. Viewers are familiar with Chris and it would probably be the cheap option. Also, Mondore is ...

He’s calling out the people who criticize him specifically for being gay, and even gives specific examples. I’m not a big Custer fan at all, but as a gay man myself I will say your post makes you sound incredibly privileged.

I see WNEM has a job posted for a Chief Meteorologist. Is Bryan leaving?

Re: Plan to replace Huel Perkins and possibly Monica Gayle

Am I the only one who thinks it is idiotic how when Fox 2 rebroadcasts Fox 2 News at 10PM and Fox 2 Newsedge at 11PM during the AM hours, they air Fox 2 Newsedge at 11PM first before they air Fox 2 News at 10PM? Fox 2 airing Fox 2 Newsedge at 11PM first before they air Fox 2 News at 10PM during the...

Re: Mid Michigan Now

When they started the FOX66 morning newscast they used to air headlines and weather that was double simulcasted on 25 and 66 during those breaks. It didn’t flow well on 66, so it appears as though they decided to just air commercials on 25 and focus just on the 66 newscast.

Bria was great. I was Impressed the first time I saw her on air and she only got better over the next two years. Best of luck to her!

Re: Hmmm,is the news drought at CBS62 about to come to an end?

What are the odds that one or all three of Stephen Clark, Frank Turner or Guy Gordon end up anchoring one of the newscasts? Frank Turner would be the only one. Clark is done and walked away from WOMC, I would think he could work anywhere if he wanted to but is likely done with the business entirely...

Re: Hmmm,is the news drought at CBS62 about to come to an end?

Maybe CBS is learning that by investing in local stations, viewers may tune into more of their network news shows. How many times can they play musical chairs and blow up the Evening News and CBS This Morning, or The Early Show, or CBS Mornings, or whatever it's called now.

Re: WJBK’s issue at 4 pm

I think the key for the 4:00 newscasts is that stations do not have to pay expensive syndication fees and can keep all the ad revenue. It would take some hella ratings to make up that difference.

Re: Matt Barbour getting his own show at 9am on abc 12?

Looks like nobody has picked up the show yet. It's interesting because it's normally one of the highest rated talk shows in daytime, usually 2nd to Dr. Phil. I get that it's expensive, but was it not pulling in enough viewers in Flint to justify the cost?

From one ABC12 on air staffer: And just like that, it's the dawn of a new area at ABC12. Ego ridden management that harassed us is out with the old company! I'm welcoming Allen Media with open arms!! Please be patient with us in this transition, but know the folks you love watching are in much bette...

Is Emery King too old to be a lead anchor at this point?
I think so. Frank Turner is an obvious choice since he just left/got fired from WNEM. Also what about Kim Adams?
