Re: Network programming preemptions by individual stations

Another WDIV preemption: Thursday October 24, no "Wheel" or "Jeopardy" from 7-8 PM that night due to an NBC News Learn/WDIV Local 4 education town hall special.

Re: Network programming preemptions by individual stations

Looks like they have "NBC Nightly News" from 7:00 to 7:30 and an infomercial from 7:30 to 8:00. Everything is pushed back because they have an hour of local news on Saturday evening, from 6:00 to 7:00.

Re: Newest Jeopardy! Uberchampion

Yeah, that was a nice surprise yesterday/Wednesday afternoon. I forgot to check today at 12:30, maybe they'll do that more often.

Re: WTOL may be removing MeTV

Buzzr is one of my favorites as well. Not available yet in Toledo but WJBK-Fox 2 Detroit has it on a subchannel.

Re: WTOL may be removing MeTV

I'm sure Buckeye Broadband will hear it too, particularly from subscribers in northwest Ohio/Toledo. Since WDIV Local 4 Detroit offers MeTV, but Buckeye only offers it to their Michigan viewers in WDIV's service area, even though WDIV's main channel is available in Ohio, minus NBC and a few syndicat...

Yes, and he's a sock salesman, which is one of the ways he got her attention, by giving her pairs of comfortable socks. Looking forward to next Monday's new episode.

LOL...You're right. I was hoping they weren't that prudish but MeTV is too good for them.

Re: WTOL may be removing MeTV

Wonder if WLMB channel 40 would be interested in picking up MeTV. Seems like a good fit for them, since they air similar shows to MeTV, when they're not airing religious programming. They only have one subchannel, "Radiant TV" last I checked, so perhaps MeTV could be on 40-3.

Re: Giant TBA on tomorrow's NBC schedule

Not only that, there is an interesting difference at 10:00 PM tonight (Monday September 16) as WDIV's listings show "Dateline NBC" which usually airs at that time. However, taking a look at WNWO's schedule, they list the NBC Primetime Preview show from 10:00-11:00, which is interesting because that ...

Will check out some of the new CBS comedies. One starring Billy Gardell, another starring Patricia Heaton. I think her's is called "Carol's Second Act." His doesn't have a name that is easy to remember. Bob Heart's … somebody I can't spell or pronounce, but Billy Gardell was funny on his last CBS sh...

Re: Comcast Removing Detroit and Lansing Channels

Hopefully that means their subscribers will at least see a slight reduction in their bills. Wondering what made them decide to make this change after all these years. Were any of these stations sometimes blocked, due to the FCC's "Network Non-Duplication and Syndicated Exclusivity" rules?
