The J is tanking. Time for Roberta to hang it up.
Nonsense. Newsradio 950 always gets a winter bump because of weather conditions and how they affect traffic, schools, etc. This is a normal spring regression to its typical ratings.

It's obvious that Florida Man will never become a member of the Justice League of America.

Clearly, he is in contempt. But when it comes to a choice between doing what is their legal and moral duty, or doing what is politically expedient, Democrats will usually choose the path of expediency
As will virtually every other politician.

Re: Whitmer ultimatum: No budget signature without 'real' road funding

Matt would find a way to discredit a Democrat who cured cancer. It's just his mindset. If you don't have me blocked, please articulate my view on gay marriage and tell me which party it more aligns with. I would never block you, Matt. You're often wrong but never stupid. I only block trolls and tho...

Re: July 1st: Get ready to pay more for auto insurance

We were with the same large insurance company for at least 25 years and perhaps longer. I dutifully paid the premiums each month as they crept higher and higher. A billing problem popped up a few months back that nobody could solve -- the agent blamed the company and vice versa. I got tired of all t...

Re: I called it - Detroit's Q Line is a fucking debacle!!!

I think TC's observation that young people are not interested in driving like we boomers were at that age is spot on. But they aren't the only ones. My boss is in his early 60s, just a year younger than I am. He's both a doctor and an attorney ... and he gave his car to one of his kids because she n...

Re: 2019 Detroit Tigers

You are 100 percent correct about leaving the minor leaguers where they are, barring injury call-ups. We called up several players in 2003-04 who were not ready for the majors, most notably Jeremy Bonderman. Remember how that turned out? I can see moving Mize to Toledo if he keeps mowing batters dow...

Re: The state of journalism today

A Detroit journalist once told me, 'whenever I interview someone about politics, I want them to think I support the other side." BTW, I have no idea what this reporter's politics are.

A Detroit journalist I know once told me, "whenever I interview someone about politics, I want them to walk away thinking I support the other side." BTW, I have no idea what their politics are.

Re: We have a problem: the police.

I feel like ketchup gets a bad rap. I put it on my hot dogs and I know the shit I will get for saying that. blah blah.... mustard....hot dogs.... yada yada. Sometimes I add a little franks hot sauce to give it a little kick. You're wrong, pal. Salsa is far superior to ketchup. In fact, I broke into...
