Re: Skipping The Super Bowl Interview

Maybe he is referring to states being “green” such as New York, Oregon and California planning onerous green new deal restrictions on cars with ICE engines, or restaurants and stoves forced to being newly equipped with electric cooking equipment.

Re: Biden is DONE

In 1968 Lyndon Johnson realized he could not win re-election. On March 31, 1968 he announced that he was withdrawing from the election and would not seek the nomination. To be fair there was a little dustup in Southeast Asia that was evaporating any chance he may have had for reelection. You rememb...

Re: Right to work ends Tuesday (13th)

Is any portion of Ann Arbor bus drivers in a union? School districts might outsource an entire function (like cafeteria services) as a cost save.

If there is no union for you to join, not sure if the new law has to force you to join a union.

Re: Right to work ends Tuesday (13th)

My understanding is that it does not apply to public govt employee unions, like teachers unions.

Privatized bus companies might be a different matter.

Re: Why does Biden need new legislation to "shut down" the border?

re: Bryce and audiophile - I'm sure you two will join me in laughing at how comical it is for the left to be blaming the migration problem on Republicans, and now, specifically, suggesting that if only it weren't for the Orange Man (who doesn't even officially hold any position of power), Biden wou...

Re: Why does Biden need new legislation to "shut down" the border?

The border situation is so bad CBS 60 minutes did a segment on it tonight. It was not favorable to the Biden administration.

CNN also reporting on the border situation, using same pictures and footage as Fox News.

It’s looking like this could be a single topic election in November.

Re: Oldies 560? Just a thought…

Oldies were on AM 560. It was called Honey Radio. Richard Dee, Teddy Bear from cklw fame, and Kevin O’Neil were Djs. Kevin Oniel did mornings, they signed on at 6am with the national anthem. He had a daily feature ‘word of the day’ and ‘honor group of the day’. They shared news team and reporters wi...

If the running out of gift cards mean the survey closed, Makes me wonder how small the survey sample size will be, and the resulting large margin of error. Doesn’t sound like a sound statistical judgment on which to base public taxation policy. It's still open, and with a stated survey period of Ja...

Re: Americans Will Lose If Streamers Monopolize Live Sports

When Amazon prime cost climbed to $139 per year, I took a look over the last dozen or so years, noted the increase, and the fact that I was not watching its sports, and was not finding much on prime, I decided I could wait an extra day for my shipments/orders. I cut the Amazon prime from my budget. ...

Re: Ford Offering Update to Keep AM Radio in EVs

Just a nostalgic AM radio trip down memory lane to share. I know Jeff Gilbert (WWJ 950) reads this board. If it wasn’t for AM radio, I would not have discovered classic country WCXI AM 1130 in 1986. I was sick of stale pretentious “classic rock” on FM. Was tuning into honey radio AM 560 for the oldi...
