Re: Tesla strikes again

I completely agree Ford is a total disaster right now. No argument from me.

The Bronco is truly awful (and I'm no fan of its little sibling, the Bronco Sport, either).

Re: Tesla strikes again

It's nice to see Elon not blame the consumer for once for his product's defects.

Tesla shares have lost 40 percent of their value year to date.

Re: Yammies aren't built so well these days...

They did the right thing by replacing your A6A, since after all your full warranty period was still active. That's an expensive unit.

I just wish their build quality was as good as it used to be, especially with regard to their entry level receivers.

Re: The MEDC needs to be disbanded

Unfortunately, the meth head hillbillies won't suddenly change their behavior or lifestyle simply because a new manufacturing plant opens, sad to say.

Re: The MEDC needs to be disbanded

No, you don't have to "actually deliver." Also, in some cases, economics are tilted absurdly in favor of the grant / subsidy recipient. That's why the MEDC process is a joke. The press releases to which you linked are misleading. Ford's "investment" in Marshall is conditioned upon receiving over a b...

Re: The MEDC needs to be disbanded

Nothing wrong w/ the organization? How the hell was the $20 million in question ever approved?

To which battery plants are you referring? Marshall and Big Rapids? I wrote here months ago regarding the economic absurdity of the subsidies the Marshall plant was seeking.

The MEDC needs to be disbanded

This highly corrupt organization has been giving sweetheart deals, at times under false pretense, to politically connected individuals for years. The majority of its board members are handpicked by the Governor. Gee - what a shock that an organization run by big Whitmer donor, Fay Beydoun, received ...

Re: March PPM's

WJLB simply does a better job serving the hip-hop and R&B audience than 107.5. 107.5 is basically a half-assed version of WJLB. No one listens to The Morning Hustle locally (a syndicated morning show from Urban One), and 107.5 in evenings airs a syndicated show from Atlanta. 107.5 seems to play a lo...

RFK, Jr. has something in common with Keith Butkovich!

RFK, Jr. will appear on statewide Michigan ballots as a Natural Law Party nominee. Butkovich in 2018 (I think?) was their gubernatorial nominee in Michigan. RFK, Jr. will appear as their 2024 U.S. Presidential nominee. LMAO https://www.freep.com/story/news/politics/elections/2024/04/18/robert-f-kenn...

Re: Yammies aren't built so well these days...

I definitely will; thanks! I finally picked up my old Yamaha from the repair shop. The power supply went bad (which certainly explains why I couldn't power on the unit) and had to be replaced. I asked the technician if the issue was caused by a "short" or a power surge. He said neither. He attribute...

Re: Weather reporting

When the severe thunderstorm warning was reissued to add St. Clair county (while retaining much of Macomb County), the "tornado possible" tag was added.

That likely explains why the sirens were sounded.

The damage was isolated certainly. A few spots did get hit hard.

Re: Weather reporting

Looks like a brief tornado touchdown or a gustnado may have occurred in Macomb County's Washington Township.

Damage shown on Fox 2 looked like tornado damage and not straight line wind damage. Debris was mangled and twisted.
